The end of a year, and especially Y5 as it is the final year of Fundamental I, always brings us feelings of happiness and sadness. It is time for our students to move on and face new challenges, time to grow up. However, it also means leaving behind special people and moments. This is the reason for having a yearbook – keeping these memories alive!

As you can perhaps tell, producing a yearbook is a slow process. Trying to write and revise all the texts, get all the pictures taken, layouts set out and planned… We’d like to thank everyone who helped us accomplish this project.

We hope you all enjoy our 2012 yearbook.

Ana Julia Greco My name is Ana Julia . I am 10 years old. I like many

things: I like theater plays, animals , movies, my family, studying, swimming and playing tennis. I have a sister, her name is Luiza. My mother is Ana Celia and my dad is Eliseu.

I have a pet. Its name is Teddy. During the week, I go to school, to English school and I play tennis.

I traveled with my family in October .I went to Natal. There I visited the historical sites and Dunas de Genipabu. It was fantastic. I visited Pipa’s beach . I tried Tapioca, but I didn´t like it. I loved the trip. Natal is very pretty.

Fábia RibeiroI´m Fábia Ribeiro. I live in São Paulo, Brazil, with my pets - 7 birds and1dog, my parents Priscila and Glauco and my aunt. Carnival

Carnival was in February. We had a funny party. People wore regular clothes. People drank and ate. After, the children played .

Saint Patrick´s day

Saint Patrick’s day happened in March. We had a contest at school. The teachers put a pot with chocolate coins in the library and we had to guess how many coins there were in the pot.

Palco Aberto was on April,9th. Some people presented their talents in Espaço Cultural. Some people in our classoroom participated, they sang,danced or played musical instruments.It was very cool!

Festa juninaFesta Junina was in June. The students

danced and ate food like corn, cake, popcorn,

hot dog and drank hot wine, quentão and soda. We

listened and danced country music.

Tchoukball Championship

Tchoukball championship happened in June and July in Uruguay. Brazilian tchoukball team played at Sul Americano championship in Uruguay. Many studentsfrom Projeto Vida participated. We got second place.

Judo FestivalJudo Festival happened in August. It was at school on Saturday. Students fought each other for medals. After the fight, the winners won a medal. Everybody participated because we practice judo at school and this festival was very cool.

Mostra CulturalMostra Cultural was a special party that we have every year in our school. It doesn’t have a specific date but this year it happened in September. In Mostra Culturalwe sang, took our family thereand showed what we did at schoolduring the year.

Fest Vida

Festvida was in October.Festvida is a sport tournament. We can play dogdeball, football, volleyball, football in the dark, basketball and sitting volleyball.

SPORT

Halloween was on October , 31st. There are spooky

parties . Usually there are many characters: ghost, vampires,

witches and lot of candies to celebrate!Children wear costumes and say trickor treat at the house’s doors.
