Mr. Cramer, born in Amherst, Massachusetts, attended Amherst Public Schools and graduated from Deerfield Academy. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Williams College in Williamston, Massachusetts, and did his graduate work at John Carroll University, Case Western Reserve University, and Springfield College.

He has laught at Deerfield Academy in Massachusetts, The University School in Cleveland, Ohio, and prior to coming to Steward, was the Associate Headmaster at Wilbraham & Monson Academy in Massachusetts. Mr. Cramer has been
with Steward since 1975.
