If you have, then you know what Psalm 9 means when it says “The heavens declare the glory of God; the sky pro- aims its builder‟s craft.” (2) The Father is a truly amazing Creator! We can see e beauty of creation all around us —in the changing of the seasons, in the new e every spring, and in the animals all around us. We live in a very beautiful orld! he Beauty of Human Life e are a part of that beauty! Each person, from the moment of their concep- on, is amazing simply because they exist. Just look at how each one of us de- eloped as a baby —miraculously growing from a single cell into a fully devel- ped baby; from an infant to a toddler who can walk and talk; from a teenager to an adult. Each step of our lives, as we grow in remarkable ways, we can e within ourselves and in one another beauty, creativity and a great capacity love. Human persons are truly amazing creatures, and we also „declare the ory of God‟! eauty and Goodness in Difficult Situations human life is good and beautiful. This is an important fact that we need to nderstand, believe in and hold on to. It is easy to confess it when we are look- g at our healthy child(ren), spouse or parents. However, it is just as equally ue when a person is in a persistent coma or suffering in pain, when we find ut that our soon to be born child will have some physical or mental deficiency, when a child is conceived at a time when we had not planned on it. Even in ese difficult situations life is good and beautiful! In these situations human life must be respected and protected. This may be difficult for some people because of fear or a lack of understanding and knowledge about the situation. It is in these times that we must come together as a community and, in solidarity with one another, help our brothers and sisters in need. We are called to love and help one another.
