No como ni chocolate ni caramelos. Bebo dos litros de agua al día más o menos. En general

No tengo ningún vicio. Cuando sea mayor, me gustaría ser futbolista. En el futuro seguiré

comiendo saludable y haré ejercicio por lo menos tres veces a la semana.

The verb gustar

The verb gustar means ‘to like’. You’ve already seen, for example, that ‘me gustaría viajar’

means ‘I would like to travel. This verb doesn’t work the same way as in English though;

almost seems backwards.

For example, if we translate ‘me gustaría viajar’ more literally, it means ‘it would be pleasing

to me to travel’.

Gustar is a reflexive verb. This means that the ending of the verb agrees with the thing that

you like or would like. To show who likes it, we put one of the following words in front of the

verb:

Me - me (e.g. Me gustaría viajar) Nos - us (e.g. Nos gustaría viajar)

Te - you (e.g. Te gustaría comer) Os - you plural (e.g. Os gustaría comer)

Le - him/her (e.g. Le gustaría bailar) Les - them (e.g. Les gustaría bailar)
