7 th May 2015 Dear Parent/Carer, Year 8 Parents’ Evening – Thursday 21 st May 2015 As you may be aware, there is a Year 8 Parents’ Evening on Thursday 21 st May 2015 between 4.30pm and 7.00pm. I hope that you are able to attend. You will have the opportunity to meet your son/ward’s subject teachers and discuss his progress in each area with them. The staff appreciate this chance to meet and talk to you personally however, in exceptional circumstances, it may not be possible for every teacher to offer an appointment to every student taught. Students are responsible for arranging appointment times with each of their teachers and are expected to attend the evening in full school uniform. I would be grateful if you could sign and date the ‘Progress Evening Parent Appointment Times’ section on page 122 of your son/ward’s Student Planner to confirm your attendance. We look forward to seeing you there, and thank you for your continued support. Yours faithfully, Mr M Dargan Assistant Headteacher – Years 7 & 8
