part in the Milne Project piloted by the Dulwich

Morrison architectural practice. Recently, the
students had the great opportunity to meet the
partners of the architectural practice sponsoring
the project who visited the school and praised
our students highly over their positive attitudes
and talent. This project will culminate in an
exhibition at the Allies and Morrison studio. The

House News Kingsdale take to slopes!
Team Andorra 2018
During the Easter Holidays, a group of 33
students embarked on their Trip of a Lifetime
to the Andorran ski slopes. This particular ski
season in Europe was a very successful one
because of the vast amounts of regular
snowfall. Spirits were not dampened by the
overnight coach journey and we were greeted
by blue skies and sunny weather. The week
ahead was filled with lots of laughter, pictures
and memorable moments of being away with
friends. The biggest challenge for every student
was to navigate the green, blue and red ski
slopes and they did not disappoint - from the
beginners all the way through to the advanced
group, which included 8 snowboarders. Team
Andorra 2018 deserve huge congratulations for
their participation and efforts to raise their
competency levels on the snow. In addition all
of our instructors stated that our students had
been excellent ambassadors for the school.

Book of the Week Recommended by teachers, librarians, pupils and parents
Book Title: Norwegian Wood
Author: Haruki Murakami
Age Range: 12+
Why should students read it?
It catches the absorption and giddy rush of
adolescent love. It is also, for all the tragic
momentum and the apparently kamikaze
consciousness of many of its characters,
often funny and quirkily observed.
You can find this book in our libraries.
