CONTINIOUS LINE DRAWING ARTWORKThis week you will focus on

‘continuous line’ drawings.

These are created when you

start a drawing and do not lift

up your pen/pencil from the

paper throughout the

completion of the drawing.

However you are to take your

time and are not to rush for the

best results.

It’s best to think of this as a fun

challenge!

WHO IS

TAPPANNIERS?The stencil artist Kris Trappeniers

from Belgium, creates fascinating

portraits using only a scalpel and

a single piece of paper. Initialy, he

creates loose continuous line

portraits on paper and then he

cuts each paper-cut by hand.

Afterwards he uses spray to paint

them. The use of various line

weights and the mixture of

positive and negative space are

the main elements of his art

creating really vivacious images.
