LESSON GOAL:

I will understand faith through the recap of the previous lessons

LESSON OVERVIEW:

The lesson of faith has many facets that the children must know. These are: how faith comes, what faith is, the Word renews you mind, writing on your heart, overcoming the spirit of fear, creating with your words, faith’s corresponding action, new covenant faith, overruling fear with faith and grace and faith. Through this, faith will no longer be just a word but real to the children who loves Jesus.

MEMORY VERSE

Ephesians 2:8-9

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.

JANUARY LESSON: HOW FAITH COMES

Before we answer the question, “How does Faith come?” let’s answer the question, “Where does Faith come

from?”

FAITH COMES FROM JESUS

Hebrews 12:2 “Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith,”

Phil. 1:6 “being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun

a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ;”

He is the one who wrote Faith & will complete it in us - -

Not looking at Abraham, Moses, even Paul, but – Jesus.

Praise God we have something better than those in the Old Testament.

FEBRUARY LESSON:WHAT FAITH IS

1. Faith is Substance.

Faith is a force, which “sees” God’s unseen realities and “creates” or brings them into the seen realm. Faith is therefore the currency of heaven.

Grace offers freely - - Faith receives.

2. Faith and HopeHope is confident expectation, but faith is NOW.

3. The Process of Faith.Believing and conceiving God’s Word in the heart is a

process.

MARCH LESSON:THE WORD RENEWS YOUR

MIND

Renewing of your MIND.

Feelings, Emotions, Actions, Habits, Character, Destiny.

Your mind will move towards your destiny based on what Word it hears.

A Born Again Christian does not anymore fall short of the Glory of God. He is the Glory of God. This is why the enemy’s main mission is to steal the Word from you. When he steals the Word, he takes away the Blessing, therefore not allowing you to expose the Glory of God.

The enemy wants you blind - bound - and most importantly to be silent. That means, if NO WORD is coming out of your mouth, then NO BLESSING can operate - therefore NO GLORY is seen. The Word in you carries the Blessing of God, for you to produce the Glory of God. Faith is an important ingredient, to help you press, for the Glory of God to manifest in your life.

Romans 10:17 So then Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.

APRIL LESSON:WRITING O YOUR HEART

• You HAVE the mind of Christ, i.e. the ability to create God’s will in the earth like Jesus did. But you have to renew your mind by planting the Word in your heart.

• Your own tongue inscribes on the canvas of your heart.

• We deposit the Word by our confession of the Word - we cultivate our heart and allow the Word to produce in us

• Our responsibility is to tend our garden – our heart.

Meditate on the Word.Remove the rocks of unforgiveness,

bitterness, offense, and guilt.Remove the weeds of cares, distractions,

and worldly influence.• Our heart condition will promote or hinder

the growth of God’s Word.

• What you put in will come out.

• Matt 12:34-37 34 For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. 35 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things. …

3RD SUNDAY: NOVEMBER 15, 2009

MAY/JUNE LESSON

MAY LESSON:OVERCOMING THE SPIRIT OF

FEAR

Encouragement when you go into battle:

• Not be Fainthearted.

• Not be Afraid.

• Give way to Panic.

• Must know that God is with you in the battle to give you victory over it.

That one thing I do:

• Forget those things that are behind and reach for the things that are before.

Kingdom Way Requirement:

Don’t look back / don’t stay in the past.• Offense, not walking in love, feeling guilty, and

condemnation are all based on past issues.• Fear of the past stops you from accomplishing

those things God has for you in the future.• Fear wants to torment you. Fear wants you not

to make progress in your life.

It is not enough to just believe, we need to release the faith of God

alive in us.WE MUST SAY IT!!!

JUNE LESSON:CREATING WITH YOUR WORDS

How many times does the word “says” appear in this bible verse?

• Mark 11:23-24 • “For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to

this mountain, ‘be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.”

THREE TIMES

Your WORDS TODAY create your WORLD TOMORROW

Kings establish rule and govern with their words. In the natural the more authority and power a person has the more people will listen to them and value their words.

We are children of God our value does not come from people but from God. Now we can speak and release God’s will and desire into the earth!

4TH SUNDAY: NOVEMBER 22, 2009

JULY/AUGUST LESSON

JULY LESSON:FAITH’S CORRESPONDING

ACTION

• Gal 6:7 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.

• The heart of man produces according to what is sown in it.

A clear heart makes establishing the Word (believing) very easy – Understanding

righteousness and principles of faith will change nations rapidly.

The first corresponding action of faith is to SAY what God says to the mountain!

This is resisting the devil with the Word of God as Jesus did in the wilderness. This is also the power of praise – overwriting fear with faith. Praise is FAITH in action.

AUGUST LESSON:NEW COVENANT FAITH

Facts are subject to change, but Truth is eternal!

• Look away from your pain; look at the finished work of Jesus Christ. As long as they looked at the snake on the pole, it didn’t matter how many times they were bitten

• Your current circumstances are subject to change when you look on the finished work of Jesus on the cross.

Before Jesus died, He said, “It is finished”. This signified that no more sacrifice would have to be paid – he paid the price once and for all.

When did faith come?

New covenant faith came when Jesus came.

Jesus made the God kind of Faith available to all believers.

We are not a faithless generation – this is written to nonbelievers!

HE IS OUR FAITH BECAUSE WE ARE IN HIM
