RE
This weekend marks the end of Ramadan and Muslims around the world will be celebrating
Eid al-Fitr.
Create an Eid card for a person that is close to you. You can share this card with them by
sending it through the post, showing it to them through a video call or by taking a photo of
your card and sending it to them. You might even want to make an Eid card for a parent,
brother or sister.
Here are some examples to help you:

Have a go at writing the following words with the cursive strokes that are needed to join

There are 12 Year 2 common exception words hidden in the word search. The words are all
written underneath the wordsearch. Cover up these words and see if you can find them all.

Bunce
Bunce is a nasty character from a story called Fantastic Mr Fox. He is an ugly and
thoughtless duck and goose farmer. All the animals that live nearby are fearful of Bunce and
the other two farmers because they like to hunt and kill animals that are helpless.
If you saw the three farmers together you would immediately recognise Bunce because he is
like a pot-bellied dwarf. He is so short his chin would be underwater in the shallow end of any
swimming pool in the world.
Bunce’s head is as round as a football and completely bald, so he often wears a hat to keep
his head warm. If you look closely at his face you would notice that he is missing lots of
teeth. This is because he is very lazy and forgets to brush his teeth. Bunce usually wears a
grey jumper with a brown jacket over the top. Bunce’s clothes are often dirty and full of
holes. On his feet he wears some brown shoes that are covered in mud.
In my opinion, Bunce is a selfish and heartless character because he only thinks about
himself.
Have a go at planning your description.
