- reVIeW - We went off-site this week to eat lunch and tour the newly constructed Eisenhower High School. It was great fun! Rotarians parked at the old Wards Parking Lot on Nob Hill and traveled by school bus to find a group of students waiting to greet and welcome them. After lunch which included the school favorites of cheese zombies and tomato soup, the Ike Chamber Choir sang the National Anthem followed by Interact Student Ian Kinney who provided an inspirational moment. President Dave gave his word of the day and reminded everyone about the Employer/Employee Seminar next Thursday after Rotary. Interact Student Christine Munson took care of the sergeant-at-arms duties. All of the money was donated to Interact. Jim Wright took over from there by acknowledging some special people in the room from the District that included Cece Mahre, Jack Irion, Steve Mitchell and Stacey Locke. With tour guides at our side we were dismissed for tours of the school. It is spectacular from the outside, to the library, weight rooms, theatre, science labs, wood shop, welding shop, open spaces and classrooms. Enjoy the pictures!
