بسم هللا الرحمن الرحيم

All quotes of Yahya Silmy as-Saylani are either from his own tapes, some directly transcribed from

English lectures and some translated from Tamil lectures to the best of my ability, or extracts

from his own e-mails and may Allah forgive me for any errors. Wherever I (Abu Asma) have

stated something from my words, you will find that I will say before it the words “I say:” and any

words found inside any quotes and between two hyphens e.g. – i.e. from Saudi – and between

brackets () are my words in explaining the meaning. All timings that are given are as per the

recordings that I have.

FIRST: AHADITH OF BUKHARI AND MUSLIM.

I say: In response to my document “Yahya Silmy as-Saylani’s Clarification of His Statements on

the Shaikh Muqbil al-Wadi’ee rahimahullah in His Own Words”, Yahya Silmy, may Allah guide

him, says:

“You can read and see the article compiled by Milhan it is nothing but saying that I had

refuted saying that I did not say it, He is quoting and then saying that is a lie, he has not

proved what he says. rather he is prooving that I had said that I never said Shiekh Muqbil

of making saheeh hadith of bukhari and muslim as daeef, rather it was his students like

Mustafa Al-Adawi, I had mentioned in my record that they should listen to the record

completely they will know what they are playing the fool of the crowd.”

“It is in the record lightly it comes as student while in the voice when I say SHiekh Muqbil

it is very apparent, so what they are showing the apparent voice and decieving the light

voice, and again in the same record if they play front it says very clearly that it is the

students of sheikh muqbil,… …”

Taken from a mail sent by Yahya Silmy using the email address <[email protected]> to

<[email protected]> on Wednesday, 4 July 2012 3:38 PM with the Subject: Re: Fw: Fwd:

Yahya Silmy's Clairifcation of His Statements on Shaykh Muqbil.

I say: The affair is not as claimed above by Yahya Silmy for reasons:

Firstly: Yahya Silmy’s statement “I never said Shiekh Muqbil of making saheeh hadith of bukhari

and muslim as daeef, rather it was his students like Mustafa Al-Adawi,”

The quote below from Yahya Silmy that I had referred to in the previous document was:

Time from: 01:09:15

“Now there see – or he says a similar word – I don’t want to comment generally on that

but I want tell you, looking into the evidence both we understand its Sahih so we continue

practicing it, baarakallahu feek. Now there are many hadithas (ahadith) even of Bukhari

and Muslim, Shaikh Muqbil has made Da’eef (weak). We can’t accept it, so that

positions are there, that troubles are there… …”

Time to: 01:09:35

Page 3: Yahya Silmy's Clarification of His Statements on Shk Muqbil - Part 2

This quote was taken from his talk “Salafi da’wah progress, oppositions and how to maintain it in

Sri Lanka”.

I Say: The point of attention, baarakallahu feekum is that I did not hear Yahya Silmy mention the

name “Mustafa al-‘Adawi” even once in that whole recording which was close to an hour and a

half whilst he now claims “I never said Shiekh Muqbil of making saheeh hadith of bukhari and

muslim as daeef, rather it was his students like Mustafa Al-Adawi,”. How could Yahya Silmy

claim that he only said this concerning Mustafa al-‘Adawi whilst he had not mentioned the name

Mustafa al-‘Adawi even once in the whole lecture? I believe, the reader does not require any

further explanation on this insha Allah.

Secondly: Yahya Silmy’s statement “and again in the same record if they play front it says very

clearly that it is the students of sheikh Muqbil”

I say: I had not transcribed the recording that is immediately in front of the original quote

mentioned above in page 1, due to the reason that the voice was not very clear and in fear of

erring but let’s play from front of the recording, may Allah forgive me if I err, Wallahul

Musta’aan:

Time from: 01:08:59

Questioner: “ – initial words not very clear – A’oodhubillahi minishaithanirrajeem min hamzihi

wanafkhihi – vague voice, not very clear – … …”

Yahya Silmy: “Yeah, what is it?”

Questioner: “ – vague voice, but looks like he says – “certain students of Shaikh Muqbil has made

it – not clear –”

Yahya Silmy: “made it Da’eef”

Time to: 01:09:14 – Tape: “Salafi da’wah progress, oppositions and how to maintain it in Sri

Lanka”.

And then from the time: 01:09:15, Yahya Silmy continues by saying “Now there see – or he says a

similar word – I don’t want to comment generally… …” to the end of what has already been

mentioned above in page 1.

Although the recording is not very clear, I believe that the questioner does say “certain students

of Shaikh Muqbil has made it”, wallahu a’lam.

However, does this necessitate that Yahya Silmy also said that “Students of Shaikh Muqbil have

made Da’eef”, I do not believe so due to the following reasons:

Firstly: The questioner’s statement is concerning one particular hadith whilst Yahya Silmy’s

remark regarding the Ahadith of Bukhari and Muslim comes after he has answered to the

questioner by saying “Now there see – or he says a similar word – I don’t want to comment

generally on that but I want tell you, looking into the evidence both we understand its Sahih so we

continue practicing it, baarakallahu feek.”.

Page 4: Yahya Silmy's Clarification of His Statements on Shk Muqbil - Part 2

Secondly: Yahya Silmy’s statement “It is in the record lightly it comes as student while in the

voice when I say SHiekh Muqbil it is very apparent”

As for the recording which I have heard time and again, there is no time gap in Yahya Silmy’s

continuous speech neither before the words “Shaikh Muqbil” nor after it wherein we could say

that he (Silmy) mentioned the words “student” even in a light tone as claimed by him. I believe

anyone listening to the recording would realise this with ease insha Allah.

Thirdly: After having listened to the recording many times repeatedly to ensure that I transcribe

correctly, I double checked with the brother Abu Aasiyah Ahmed Bukhari as-Saylani who had

attended the lecture and recorded it himself; and all of this verification was before I put out the

first document “Yahya Silmy as-Saylani’s Clarification of His Statements on The Shaikh Muqbil al-

Wadi’ee Rahimahullah in His Own Words”. On my request, after listening to the recording the

brother Ahmed informed me by saying (conversation by sms):

Ahmed: “Afoo Didn’t recall hearing it the day i recorded it. Had few people listen to it now they

heard him mention shk Muqbil’s name.”

Milhan: “Shk Muqbil’s name being mentioned is very clear. Just wanted to confirm with you if

you heard him say the word “Da’eef” after he mentioned Shaikh Muqbil’s name?”

Ahmed: “Yes he said he made hadith daef frm bukhari & muslim”

Milhan: “Jazakallahu khaira since the recording I have all the words are clear except for the word

‘Da’eef’. That’s why I wanted to clarify.”

Ahmed: “Barakallafeek! We all heard it. I heard him mention daeef even in my siting during the

talk.”

End quotes.

Fourthly: Listening to Yahya Silmy’s continuous speech after he mentions “Now there are many

hadithas (ahadith) even of Bukhari and Muslim, Shaikh Muqbil has made Da’eef (weak).”,

wherein he says:

Time from: 01:09:25

“Now there are many hadithas (ahadith) even of Bukhari and Muslim, Shaikh Muqbil has

made Da’eef (weak). We can’t accept it, so that positions are there, that troubles are

there which is in its own position with all respect but the Yemen brothers happen to take

it very strongly we respect them but we say, we can sit to discuss with the people of that

– weak voice – ‘Ilm of Jarh wat Ta’deel this our position and we take it as wrong, like the

‘Ulema of Sunnah throughout history have never been condemned in the hadith of

Bukhari and Muslim except certain Da’eef hadith of Muslim those things, but in Yemen

this has been going little more than its limit; which is not, I mean me and many of the

Masha’ikh of Sunnah through what I learned is they did not take that totally like that, we

appreciate Yemen and its services all of it but same time areas where mistake we have to

avoid among that is ahadithas (Ahadith) made Da’eef in many areas which by like Ibn

Hajar – he says a word I could not understand – Albaani, Shawkani, many other ‘Ulemas

Page 5: Yahya Silmy's Clarification of His Statements on Shk Muqbil - Part 2

also making it Sahih, even in Yemen Shawkani himself make many hadithas (Ahadith)

Sahih Shaikh Muqbil and others are not 1.

So Shaikh Muqbil’s position on Tasheeh Tad’eef (making Sahih and Da’eef) is very strict

and even sometime it’s not in appreciated so on that position with all appreciation of he

is a Salafi, he is a Muhaddith, Imam everything there are limits where we find it’s

wrong we avoid it on that grounds.”

Time to: 01:10:50 – Tape: “Salafi da’wah progress, oppositions and how to maintain it in Sri

Lanka”.

I say: From Yahya Silmy’s speech above, the following remarks of Yahya Silmy:

“even in Yemen Shawkani himself make many hadithas (Ahadith) Sahih Shaikh Muqbil

and others are not”

“So Shaikh Muqbil’s position on Tasheeh Tad’eef (making Sahih and Da’eef) is very

strict and even sometime it’s not in appreciated”

“he is a Salafi, he is a Muhaddith, Imam everything there are limits where we find it’s

wrong”

Relate directly to the Shaikh Muqbil rahimahullah and had Yahya Silmy only meant to say that the

students of the Shaikh Muqbil rahimahullah have made Ahadith of Bukhari and Muslim Da’eef, it

would not necessitate for Yahya Silmy to excuse himself by saying “he is a Salafi, he is a

Muhaddith, Imam everything there are limits where we find it’s wrong” or the likes of these

statements.

Fifthly: As for what was the intention of Yahya Silmy when he said it i.e. “Now there are many

hadithas (ahadith) even of Bukhari and Muslim, Shaikh Muqbil has made Da’eef (weak)”, did

he mean the students of the Shaikh Muqbil or was it a slip of his tongue and the likes of these are

not known to us; and we could only judge a person based on what is apparent from him. Had it

been a slip of the tongue or unintentional it would have been simply sufficient for Yahya Silmy to

have said so when it was refuted almost a year ago, in Dhul Qa’dah of the Year 1432H, by the

Shaikh Abdul Hameed al-Hajoorie hafizhahullah and further refuted by the Shaikh Hussain al-

Hateebi hafizhahullah this year without finding fault with them for pointing it out, without

denying it and without having thrown the likes of these accusations at them:

“Now this sentence that they say, the liars in that are they themselves”

“I did not say anywhere that Shaikh Muqbil did it”

“It was for you both to follow the islamic rulings of verifying before refuting”

“Concerning blaming me for accusing sheikh Muqbil is utter lies”

1 Note: As for the impression given by Yahya Silmy that when an Imam such as Imam Shawkani

rahimahullah from Yemen makes a hadith Sahih, it also necessitates the other Muhaddithoon (plural of

Muhaddith) in Yemen to agree with his ruling; is baseless in the Deen since, the Tashih and Tad’eef of

Ahadith is not dependant on regions or countries or blind following the ruling of another Muhaddith or the

likes of these classifications, rather is based on the principles, rules and conditions of the field of Hadith

and what surrounds it.

Page 6: Yahya Silmy's Clarification of His Statements on Shk Muqbil - Part 2

“Let those narrate you play the record complete and will know the fact of what If it was

as assumed by both of you”

All above quotes are from the words of Yahya Silmy and have already been mentioned in the

document “Yahya Silmy as-Saylani’s Clarification of His Statements on The Shaikh Muqbil al-

Wadi’ee Rahimahullah in His Own Words”.

Sixthly: Subsequent to Yahya Silmy’s latest denial (on Page 1), I requested the Brother Abu Aasiya

Ahmed Bukhari as-Saylani to give me a record in writing of what he witnessed and heard from

Yahya Silmy’s speech in concern, for which the brother Jazahullahu khaira sent me an e-mail on

Saturday, 14 July 2012, at 10:39 which reads; begin quote:

(Al-Ahzaab 70-71) A clarification from Ahmed Buhari as-Saylaani about the statement made by Yehya Silmy

as-Saylaani

I, Ahmed Buhari as-Saylaani was present on the day (around Aug 2010) when Yehya

Silmy as-Saylaani delivered the talk titled “Salafi da’wah progress, oppositions and how

to maintain it in Sri Lanka”after the Jummu’ah salaah. I personally recorded this talk &

have listened to the recording several times wherein Yehya Silmy states:

1:09:27 of his tape “Salafi da’wah progress, oppositions and how to maintain it in Sri Lanka”

Page 7: Yahya Silmy's Clarification of His Statements on Shk Muqbil - Part 2

“… Now there are many hadithas (ahadith) even of Bukhari and Muslim, Shaikh

Muqbil has made Da’eef (weak)…”

Note: There is no mention of Shaikh Muqbil’s student/s here.

And Allaah (subhanahu wa ta’ala) knows best.

Some people asked Allaah's messenger, "Whose Islaam is the best? i.e. (Who

is a very good Muslim)?" He صلى هللا عليه وسلمreplied, "One who avoids

harming the Muslims with his tongue and hands."

(Sahih al-Bukhari - Kitaabul Eemaan Volume 1, Book 2, Number 10)

I end by praising Allaah (Azza wa jal) Lord of the worlds, Who knows that which is

hidden & apparent, and salaams upon His Noble Messenger (صلى هللا عليه وسلم),his family

and companions.

End quote.

I say: I believe the readers do not need any explanation on this, insha Allah.

Finally: Taking into consideration all the facts mentioned above and the other numerous

accusations that Yahya Silmy has thrown at the Shaikh Muqbil rahimahullah without providing

any substantial evidences for them, which Alhamdulillah, I have already clarified in the document

“Yahya Silmy as-Saylani’s Accusations on the Scholars of Ahlus Sunnah of Our Time in His Own

Words” leads me to believe that Yahya Silmy had in fact said that the Shaikh Muqbil had made

Ahadith from Bukhari and Muslim to be Da’eef, Wallahu a’lam and I say as in the Noble Qur’an:

“Our Lord! Punish us not if we forget or fall into error”

[Surah al-Baqarah: 286]

Let me also say this, if this statement in concern from Yahya Silmy “Now there are many

hadithas (ahadith) even of Bukhari and Muslim, Shaikh Muqbil has made Da’eef (weak)” was a

slip of the tongue from Yahya Silmy, then it is upon him to correct it and announce so, and if it

was intentional from him, then let him repent to Allah, correct it and inform the people and

increase in Istighfar and Du’a for the Shaikh Muqbil rahimahullah, as for the claim that he said in

a low voice the words “student of” and that just because the questioner said “students of” it also

Page 8: Yahya Silmy's Clarification of His Statements on Shk Muqbil - Part 2

implies and necessitates that Yahya Silmy also said it and that he is free of this statement

attributed to him whilst it has been recorded and that all those who pointed this out to him are

liars; then this in contradiction to the evidences that I have already established above with the

help of Allah and it is not acceptable. And we ask Allah to rectify Yahya Silmy and his affairs.

However, since I fear the possible spread of evil resulting from this could be greater than the

expected benefit due to the unsound behaviour exhibited by Yahya Silmy and his repeated

denials, I have decided to leave this matter to the All Knowing, The One Who knows all that

which the breasts conceal, my Lord and The Lord of all that exists, subhanahu wata’ala. As for

me, O my Lord, then I have conveyed. Wallahu a’lam, Wallahul Musta’aan!

“Certainly, Allâh knows what they conceal and what they reveal. Truly, He likes not the proud.”

[Surah an-Nahl: 23]

SECOND: DID THE SHAIKH MUQBIL, DUE TO HIS MISTAKE, TURN HIS STUDENTS INTO

TAKFEERIS?

Yahya Silmy says concerning the Shaikh Muqbil rahimahullah:

Time from: 00:10:05

“Did I mention this incident that took place with Shaikh Muqbil in an attempt to belittle

(him) or to state that it took place, I said that in the beginning, why are we saying this?

During the early times, as a result of the mistake of the Shaikh Muqbil rahimahullahu

ta’ala, many of his students turned into Takfeeris (those who are upon the Takfeeri

Manhaj), I said in the same class (that) this is why I am mentioning… …”

Time to: 00:10:23 – Tape “Ilangaiyil dammaj makkalin kulappangalum apaandangalum

adharkaana saanrugalum nirupikkappatta aadhaarangalum” Lecture and title in Tamil, translated

means: “Troubles and Slander (false claims) of the people of Dammaj (made) in Sri Lanka, the

evidences and established proofs for it.”

I say: Yahya Silmy made the above accusation concerning the Shaikh Muqbil rahimahullah just

two to three weeks after he himself had freed the Shaikh Muqbil rahimahullah from the mistakes

of Mustafa al-‘Adawi and the likes of them when he said:

Time from: 00:09:43

“… …Today, Mustafa al-‘Adawi is connected to one of the biggest Jihadi groups, he came

out from the gathering of Shaikh Muqbil, he has forgotten the way that Shaikh Muqbil

showed, he has left that path, Mustafa al-‘Adawi has turned into a misguided one,

similarly Abul Hasan al-Ma’rabi, those who sat and grew in the gathering of Shaikh

Muqbil… …”.

Page 9: Yahya Silmy's Clarification of His Statements on Shk Muqbil - Part 2

Time to: 00:10:10 – Tape “Naseehati li Ahlus Sunnah lis Shaikh Muqbil” Lecture was in Tamil, the

subject was Yahya Silmy explaining the book of Shaikh Muqbil “My Advice to the Ahlus Sunnah”.

I say: Firstly, I would like to point out that this accusation of Yahya Silmy is amongst his many

such accusations for which he has not provided any evidences as I have already explained

Alhamdulillah in my document “Yahya Silmy as-Saylani’s Accusations of the Scholars of Ahlus

Sunnah of Our Time in His Own Words”. Secondly the point of attention here is that Yahya Silmy

has clearly contradicted himself on this statement as seen above.

O Yahya Silmy, you say that those students of the Shaikh Muqbil left the path of the Shaikh

Muqbil rahimahullah in your own words “he has forgotten the way that Shaikh Muqbil showed,

he has left that path” and then within two to three weeks you change your mind and say “as a

result of the mistake of the Shaikh Muqbil rahimahullahu ta’ala, many of his students turned

into Takfeeris (those who are upon the Takfeeri Manhaj)” also in your own words. Will you not

make up your mind and speak the truth?

Thirdly, what is the responsibility of the Shaikh Muqbil if some of his students were to go astray?

Especially when you yourself have said that those who went deviant have left the way that was

shown by the Shaikh Muqbil when you said “he has forgotten the way that Shaikh Muqbil

showed, he has left that path”. Are you implying that the Shaikh Muqbil should have had full

control over everyone he taught to the extent that he guides them up until they die? Do you not

read the Aayah (verse) wherein Allah ‘Azza Wajal has said in His Noble Book:

“Verily! You (O Muhammad Sal-Allaahu 'alayhe Wa Sallam) Guide not whom You like, but Allâh

guides whom He wills. and He knows best those who are the guided.”

[Surah al-Qasas: 56]

Allah subhanahu wata’ala has said this concerning the best of creation, the seal of the Prophets,

Muhammad sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam and yet you hold the Shaikh Muqbil rahimahullah

responsible for the possible mistakes of some of his students! And Allah further said:

“Your duty is Only to convey (the Message) and on us is the reckoning.”

[Surah ar-Ra’d: 40]

O Yahya Silmy, may Allah guide you, if only you would stick to authentic narrations and speak

truthfully, how merciful it would be upon you and the others; instead of talking without providing

the evidences and conflicting yourself endlessly in the manner you have done as illustrated above

and other than it as previously clarified. Wallahul Musta’aan.

Page 10: Yahya Silmy's Clarification of His Statements on Shk Muqbil - Part 2

THIRD: CLARIFYING AND RECTIFYING MISTAKES.

Allah ‘Azza Wajal says in His Noble Book:

“You [true believers In Islâmic Monotheism, and real followers of Prophet Muhammad and his

Sunnah (legal ways, etc.)] are the best of peoples ever raised up for mankind; You Enjoin Al-

Ma'rûf (i.e. Islâmic Monotheism and All that Islâm has ordained) and forbid Al-Munkar

(polytheism, disbelief and All that Islâm has forbidden),… …”

[Surah aal-‘Imran: 110]

“Except those who repent and do righteous deeds, and openly declare (the Truth which they

concealed). These, I will Accept their repentance. and I am the one who accepts repentance,

the Most Merciful.”

[Surah al-Baqarah: 160]

Allâh ‘Azza Wajal says:

“let there arise out of You a group of people inviting to All that is good (Islâm), enjoining Al-

Ma'rûf (i.e. Islâmic Monotheism and All that Islâm orders one to do) and forbidding Al-Munkar

(polytheism and disbelief and All that Islâm has forbidden). and it is they who are the

successful.”

[Surah aal-‘Imran: 104]

And the Noblest of Prophets, Muhammad sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam said:

“Whoever among you sees an evil action, let him change it with his hand (by taking action); if

he cannot, then with his tongue (by speaking out); and if he cannot, then with his heart (by

hating it and feeling it is wrong), and that is the weakest of faith.”2

I would like to share with the readers these two quotes which, I believe are self-explanatory,

which were translated and posted by the Brother Abu Fajr Abdul Fattah waffaqahullah on the

2 Reported by Muslim in his Sahih (Eng. Trans. Vol. 1, No. 177, Darussalam print) on the authority of Abu

Sa’eed radiyallahu ‘anhu.

Page 11: Yahya Silmy's Clarification of His Statements on Shk Muqbil - Part 2

Aloloom site; from them are what relates to an incident that happened involving the Imam

Nasiruddeen al-Albaani rahimahullah, begin quote:

Also in the tape “tahdeethun Nafs” of Ash-Shaykh Albaani, may Allaah have mercy upon

him, a conversation occurred between him and someone in the audience where he (the

one in audience) made a mistake in his speech (kalaam). Henceforth, Ash-Shaykh Albaani

clarified to him the mistake that he made. However the brother responded by saying it

was a slip of the tongue, so the Shaykh responded by saying, ‘I know that, that is why I

am clarifying it’.3 End quote.

I say: Alhamdulillah, we learn from the above incident with the Imam al-Albaani rahimahullah,

that when he rahimahullah saw a mistake even though being a slip of the tongue, he corrected it

and further when the brother who made the mistake took it lightly by saying that it is only a slip

of the tongue, the Shaikh al-Albaani rahimahullah corrected him again by mentioning that he

knew it but it still had to be corrected. Secondly, there is a big difference between the brother

accepting his mistake as a slip of the tongue and the situation had he denied it by saying the likes

of “I did not say it” or “I said it in a light voice” or the likes of such denials similar to what we have

seen from the behaviour of Yahya Silmy.

And the second one being a question that was asked from the ‘Allamah Salih al-Fawzan al-Fawzan

hafizhahullah, begin quote:

Shaykh Saaleh al-Fawzaan (hafidhahullaah) was asked regarding the ruling of the student

of knowledge who follows up the mistakes of some of the Du'at, compiles it and

distributes it in tape form, and if this is from the manhajus- salafi?

He (hafidhahullaah) answered: If the intention (of the person) is to clarify the truth and

clarify the mistake then this good. This from da'wah to Allaah that we clarify the

mistakes so that the people do not fall in to it. However, if the intention (of the person)

is to please his own desires and to seek revenge against the person and to degrade the

honor of the person then this not permissible.4 End quote.

I say: And I ask Allah subhanahu wata’ala to make my intentions upright and to make me from

those that the Shaikh al-Fawzan hafizhahullah mentioned initially as those who wish to clarify the

truth and further save me from having any ill intentions.

FOURTH: ACCUSATIONS THROWN AT MILHAN.

Yahya Silmy says:

“… …but milhan a lier known for it has been very cheating in repeating the same voice

which is only a part of the audio, while the other part of it he keeps ignoring as he want

to continue as a lier ..”

“Nothing more these people are bunch of liers have got together to make lies over the

salafi call which I am upon, they envy the salafi call and support the down fall of the

salafi call in sri lanka.”

“He says he does not know his teacher Dr. Raiesudeen as a rafaidhi when he attacks on

sahabas, but he is very clever to sit down to work the down fall of salafi dauwah, while

in damaj he acts refuting the hoosies .. the rafidah, and his teacher Dr. Raiesudeen till

now he is in contact with him, as it has been proven very clearly is trying to ignore his

attacks of sahabas… …”

“So this milhan is a liar and a cheater the people know him before he left sri lanka, a

stauch tableeghi one time, then after that a blind student of Rafidhi Dr. Raieseudeen,

now a stauch enemy to salafi dauwah... Nothing to surprise for such a guy to turn a

enemy to salafi dauwah...”

All above quotes taken from a mail sent by Yahya Silmy using the email address

<[email protected]> to <[email protected]> on Wednesday, 4 July 2012 3:38 PM

with the Subject: Re: Fw: Fwd: Yahya Silmy's Clairifcation of His Statements on Shaykh Muqbil.

I say: Wallahul Musta’aan, I say to you O Yahya Silmy that which Allah commanded Muhammad

sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam to say:

“Say (O Muhammad ): "What thing is the Most great In witness?" say: "Allâh (the Most Great!)

is witness between Me and you;… …”

[Surah al-AAn’aam: 19]

And fi’lan, by the One in Whose Hands is my soul, Allah is my witness over this affair and if you do

not repent from these filthy and false accusations that you have thrown at me O Yahya Silmy, I

will Insha Allah, hold you to account for them in front of Allah on the Day when regret will be of

no avail, wallahul musta’aan!

I have, with the help of my Lord, already briefly refuted on these baseless accusations of Yahya

Silmy in my verbal refutation which was in defending myself during my visit to Sri Lanka a few

months back.

As we have already seen, from the methodology of Yahya Silmy is that he throws accusations

without providing any evidences and since these accusations on me too are of the same nature

without any evidences, so I decided to give precedence to clarifying the reality of Yahya Silmy’s

accusations on the Scholars of Ahlus Sunnah and exposing them, which Yahya Silmy continues to

publicise under the slogan of Da’wah as Salafiyyah, prior to defending myself. Further, it is not

suprising to see Yahya Silmy having thrown these false accusations at me, a student of knowledge

in his beginning stages, Alhamdulillah; seeing what he (Silmy) has said about the Imam Muqbil

ibn Hadi al-Wadi’ee rahimahullah and about the Father, the ‘Allamah, the Shaikh Rabee’ ibn Hadi

al-Madkhali hafizhahullah as I have already exposed in the document “Yahya Silmy as-Saylani’s

Accusations on The Scholars of Ahlus Sunnah of Our Time in His Own Words” and “A Clear

response to Yahya Silmy as-Saylani’s Accusations on the Shaikh Muqbil al-Wadi’ee Using the

Words of the Shaikh Himself rahimahullah”, walhamdulillah.

And I ask Allah subhanahu wata’ala to do Barakah in my time so that I would find some time to

put out a written document insha Allah, exposing the baselessness of Yahya Silmy’s claims and

accusations thrown at me, Wallahul Musta’aan.

However should I not live till then, I would like to remind Yahya Silmy again of what my Lord said:

“O You who believe! keep Your duty to Allâh and fear him, and speak (Always) the truth.”

“He will direct You to do righteous good deeds and will forgive You Your sins. and Whosoever

obeys Allâh and his Messenger (Sal-Allaahu 'alayhe Wa Sallam) He has indeed achieved a great

achievement (i.e. He will be saved from the Hell-fire and made to enter Paradise).”

[Surah al-Ahzab: 70 – 71]

“O You who believe! be afraid of Allâh, and be with those who are true (in Words and deeds).”

[Surah at-Tawbah: 119]

“and Whosoever does evil equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it.”

[Surah az-Zalzalah: 8]

“not a word does He (or she) utter, but there is a watcher by Him ready (to record it).”

[Surah Qaaf: 18]

And I ask Allah The Most High that he does not make me busy with this fitnah of Yahya Silmy and

that he frees me to seek knowledge of His Book and the Sunnah of His Messenger sallallahu

‘alaihi wasallam upon the Manhaj of the Salafus Saalih.

FIFTH: THE RESPONSIBILITY TO RECTIFY MISTAKES WHEN BROUGHT TO LIGHT WITH ITS

EVIDENCE.

I Say: Know, O noble reader, may Allah have mercy upon us and you, that when a mistake is

pointed out it is the responsibility of the one from whom the mistake occurred that he rectifies it

in accordance to the principles of the Deen irrespective of who pointed it out as long as the

mistake had in fact taken place and the relevant evidence has been provided as it was narrated

from Abdullah ibn Yasar, from Qutailah radiyallahu ‘anha, a woman from Juhainah:

“That a Jew came to the Prophet sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam and said: ‘You are setting rivals (to

Allah) and associating others (with Him). You say: ‘Whatever Allah wills and you will.’ and you

say: ‘By the Ka’bah.’ So the Prophet sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam commanded them, if they wanted

to swear an oath, to say: ‘By the Lord of the Ka’bah’ and to say: ‘Whatever Allah wills, Thumma

(then) what you will’.5

And I asked our Shaikh Yahya ibn Ali al-Hajoorie hafizhahullah after our Luhr Dars of Tafsir Ibn

Katheer today, Saturday, the Twenty Fourth of Sha’baan in the Year 1433H, whether the above

hadith of Qutailah radiyallahu ‘anha can be taken as an evidence that, even if a Mubtadi’

(Innovator) points out a mistake with Adillah as-Sahihah (authentic evidences), is it to be

accepted due to the evidences that he has brought forward? The Shaikh hafizhahullah replied by

saying, the meaning of which is:

“The truth is not to be rejected regardless of whom it came from, rather it is to be accepted since

it is the truth and it forms Iqamatul Hujjah (establishing the evidence).”6 End quote in summary.

However this does not mean that we make a general rule from the above hadith, that we seek

knowledge from anyone and everyone who brings a hadith or quotes from the Qur’an since it is a

well-known principle in the Deen that the knowledge of the Deen is only taken from those who

are sound and upon the ‘Aqeedah and Manhaj of Salafus Salih and from none other and that we

do not even sit with Ahlul Bid’ah (people of innovation) and Ahlul Hawa (people of desires) let

alone learning the Deen from them and the narrations in respect of this are numerous,

Alhamdulillah.

So let the noble reader be cautious of being deceived by the impression that Yahya Silmy has

tried to create by his words in accusing me of having a false ‘Aqeedah (creed) and of being a liar,

that it is not necessary to accept the truth and it’s evidences that I have put forth. Let us

presume, as claimed by Yahya Silmy, that there are mistakes in my ‘Aqeedah, and Allah is

sufficient as a witness for my ‘Aqeedah and all my affairs; does it relieve Yahya Silmy from having

to rectify the mistakes that originated from him for which the clear evidences have been

5 Reported by an-Nasa’ee in his Sunan (Eng. Trans. Vol. 4, No. 3804, Darussalam print), made authentic by the Shaikh Muqbil in his as-Sahih al-Musnad (Vol. 2, Page. 528, No. 1638, Darul Aathar print). 6 This is a not a word to word translation of the Shaikh’s words but the meaning of what he said in

summary.

established against him? The obvious answer would be “No”, as established from the above

hadith.

Further it is possible for a person to say, since Yahya Silmy has accused Milhan of being a liar,

how would we know whether what he has said in his refutation of Yahya Silmy is the truth or a

collection of lies? This could very well occur in the minds of people and would form an interesting

question, however the answer is very straight forward and simple insha Allah as detailed below:

The evidences that I have established are from the Qur’an and the Sunnah.

I have provided evidences either from Yahya Silmy’s own speech which are recorded or

words from his own e-mails for every statement that I have attributed to him, and the

one who wishes to verify them, could do so very easily insha Allah; and I have provided

the references for all that I have quoted, Alhamdulillah.

The brother who had attended the said lecture and recorded it himself, after listening to

the recording, confirms to what I have stated.

Yahya Silmy has not provided any evidences for his accusations on me similar to his

baseless and false accusations on the Shaikh Muqbil rahimahullah and the Shaikh Rabee’

hafizhahullah, not that I compare myself in any way to those great scholars.

Those who wish to, can also verify about me from my Masha’ikh here, the likes of the

Shaikh Abdul Hameed al-Hajoorie hafizhahullah and the Shaikh Muhammad ibn Hizaam

al-Ba’dani hafizhahullah and from the trustworthy brothers who know of me here and

back in Sri Lanka.

I ask Allah to make me patient upon this fitnah of Yahya Silmy and to aid me since He has tested

those who were far superior to me and since Allah’s help comes with patience as He said:

“Verily, (many) Messengers were denied before You (O Muhammad ), but with patience they

bore the denial, and they were hurt, till Our help reached them… …”

[Surah al-An’aam: 34]

“… …and we have made some of You as a trial for others: will You have patience? and Your

Lord is ever All-Seer (of everything).”

[Surah al-Furqan: 20]

Page 16: Yahya Silmy's Clarification of His Statements on Shk Muqbil - Part 2

“So Verily, with the hardship, there is relief,”

“Verily, with the hardship, there is relief (i.e. there is one hardship with two reliefs, so one

hardship cannot overcome two reliefs).”

[Surah ash-Sharh: 5 – 6]

And Allah knows best, all perfect praise is due to Him alone and may He extol His blessings of

peace upon Muhammad, his family and his companions. Written by Abu Asma Milhan ibn Haniffa

as-Sirilaanki on the Twenty Fourth of Sha’baan in the Year 1433H in Dar-ul-Hadith of Dammaj.
