Y11 Results Day 2015

1
13 July 2015 Dear Student, Year 11 Results Day – Thursday 20 August 2015 Results day for Level 2 qualifications (GCSE/BTEC/OCR Nationals) taken this summer will be on Thursday 20 August 2015. The school will be open from 9.00 – 11.00am for you to collect your examination results. Any uncollected results will be sent home by first class post. If you are unable to collect your results in person, you can arrange, in advance, for someone else to collect them for you. You must inform me in writing, and the person collecting your results must bring a proof of identity. Enrolment onto our Sixth Form courses will take place at the same time. School staff will be available to assist with queries about post-16 education and to offer guidance on issues or concerns. Examination boards offer a variety of post-results services. These include seeing your examination script or requesting a re-mark of examination(s) if marks are close to the next grade up. There are fees associated with these services which are payable by students. The deadline for this is Sunday 20 September 2015. You will be able to discuss these with me on results day. Examination certificates will arrive in school during October and November. Schools are advised not to post certificates home as they are important documents. You must, therefore, collect your certificates from school in person by the end of January. Any uncollected certificates will be destroyed and you will have to order, and pay for, replacements from the examination boards; the charge is approximately £38.00 each. If you have any queries regarding results, please contact me as soon as possible. Yours faithfully, Ms D Cash Senior Administrator (Examinations / SIMS Manager)
