In Hindi, the word for wisdom or knowledge is Vidya. This is the essence ofour education program and best describes it. Our education project is basedon values that encourage critical thinking, questioning mind, scientifictemperament, creativity, imagination, and holistic development. We workwith Government schools of the area. YFC’s work with in education entails:Supporting schools in gap filling like providing benches, uniforms, shoes, multimedia apparatus, Teaching Assistants/Youth Mentors; supportingschools in organising sports events; and supporting schools in developingand delivering sports curriculum.

YFC is also working on a curriculum/content for its beneficiaries (acontinuous process) where in all the beneficiaries have to attain a minimumlevel of understanding of different subjects to start with and then go on tohigher levels. YFC provides extra education classes to residential and non-residential football players.During the situation of Covid-19, it was not possible to take children into thegrounds and schools. So the teachers start collaboration with the coachesand took the charge to engage the children with the help of social mediawhichever were convenient to the children i.e. WhatsApp, YouTube etc. Allthe teachers, Youth Mentors and Coaches assigned them with differenteducational tasks such as their home work from school and other extraeducational tasks.
