Rigorous testing has proven the strength and resistance of the XS Linked Cable System on a steel roof. The main components of an

XS Linked Cable System are the permanent XS Impact anchorage points and the XS Slider. These components enable free movement

along the system. The lifeline adapts smoothly to steel roofing materials to protect workers from fall hazards. Thanks to the XS Linked

Cable System, risks are minimized without compromising a worker’s movement.

XS Impact - 11100The XS Impact is used to support the XS Linked System, as a stand-alone

anchorage point and as an anchorage point in horizontal temporary lifeline

systems. The anchorage point is tested according the EN795 in classes A1 and C.

The anchor will not be activated until a force of 3kN is applied to the anchor.

The anchor is tested against a continuous force of 10kN. The ultimate strength

after deployment is greater than 20kN.

XS Toggle anchor - 11300The XS Toggle Anchor is used for fixing the anchorage point to the roof. Its

special shape allows the anchor to be pushed through the roofing.

XS Terminal (hold) - 12235One end is swaged to the lifeline. The other end is connected to an

XS Impact anchorage point, with a stainless steel AISI 304 socket head screw

M12 x 35 mm.

XS Tensioner II System - 12300Consists of XS Startpoint, XS Hold, and XS Tensioner.

The XS Startpoint (and stainless steel threaded shaft) acts as the attachment

point between the XS Hold and the XS Tensioner.

The XS Tensioner is used for tightening the cable. Correct tension of the cable

ensures correct functioning of all system components in the event of a fall.

XS point - 13330The XS Point is a special entrance and exit point which makes it impossible for

the slider to be disconnected outside of the XS Point. The XS Point can only be

used in combination with the XS Slider Pro.

XS Intermediate - 12400The XS Intermediate is used to position the lifeline cable. It is shaped specifically

to allow a user to move safely without needing to disconnect from the lifeline.

It can be installed in many different configurations and at regular intervals to

ensure the optimum distribution of forces along the lifeline.

XS edge 45o - 12500The XS Edge 45° enables the direction of the lifeline cable to be changed. It is

shaped specifically to allow a user to move safely without needing to disconnect

from the lifeline.

XS edge 90o - 12600The XS Edge 90° enables the direction of the lifeline cable to be changed. It is

shaped specifically to allow a user to move safely without needing to disconnect

from the lifeline.

XS Slider - 12810The XS Slider allows a user to move easily along the cable. Its unique shape and

design enables smooth passage through brackets without disconnecting from

the line. Hooking and unhooking the XS Slider is possible at any location on

the wire rope. The locking system of the runner eliminates any possibility of

incorrect manipulation during connection to the cable.

XS Slider pro - 12820The XS Slider Pro can easily make an angle up to 40° thanks to the addition of

the integrated guiding sleeve (a “rotating tube”). The guiding sleeve ensures

that the XS Slider Pro passes brackets and corners more easily when working at

an angle. The XS Slider Pro can only be used in combination with the XS Point.

The XS Point is a special entrance and exit point that makes it impossible to

disconnect the XS Slider Pro elsewhere on the system.

When installing an XSPlatforms system on concrete, the XS Linked Cable System uses the permanent XS Mechanical Anchor instead of

the XS Toggle Anchor. This device has been designed to provide a solid anchorage point specifically for solid and hollow core concrete

installations. This system allows workers to move with protected freedom as they perform various tasks at height.
