Before You Start•Disconnectnegativebatteryterminal.Consultaqualifiedtechnicianforinstructions.•Avoidinstallingtheunitwhereitwouldbesubjecttohightemperatures,suchasfromdirectsunlight,orwhereitwouldbesubjecttodust,dirtorexcessivevibration.
Getting Started•Insertthesuppliedkeysintotheslotsasshown,andslidetheunitoutofthemounting
sleeve.•Installmountingsleeveintoopening,bendingtabstosecure.•Connectwiringharnessandantenna.Consultaqualifiedtechnicianifyouareunsure.•Certainvehiclesmayrequireaninstallationkitand/orwiringharnessadapter(soldseparately).•Testforcorrectoperationandslideintothemountingsleevetosecure.•Snaptrimringintoplace.

General OperationPress RELEASEandpullawayfromtheleftsidetoremove.Tore-install,insertrightsideoffaceplatefirstthenpushleftsidetosecure.
Press or any other button to turn the unit on. Press againtoturntheunitoff.
Press MODE toselectbetweenAM/FM,USB,SDorauxiliaryinputmodes.Modesofoperationareindicatedinthedisplay.SDandUSBmodeswillnotappearunlessanSDCardisinsertedoraUSBdeviceisconnected.
Theradiofrequency(tunermode)orMP3/WMAtitle/trackinformation(USBandSDmodes)willbeshownbydefault.Press DISPtodisplaytheclock.Thedefaultdisplaywillreturn after five seconds.
WheninUSBorSDmode,thedisplaywillalternatebetweentracknumber/elapsedtimeandavailableMP3/WMAinformation,includingfilename,songtitle,artistname,albumnameandfoldername.
Press RESETuponinitialinstallationorifabnormaloperationoccurs.Resetbuttonislocatedbehindthefrontpanel.
Press DISP todisplaytheclock,thenpressandholdDISP until the hours will flash. Rotate the volume knobtoadjustthe hours. Press the volume knob,andtheminuteswillflash. Rotate the volume knobtoadjusttheminutes.
Inserta3.5mmconnectorinthefrontpanelAUXport.Connecttheotherendofthe3.5mmconnectortotheheadphoneoutputofanaudiodevice,MP3player,etc.
Adjustvolumeusingthe volume knob(00-40).
Press EQtoselectbetweenthefollowingpresetequalizationcurves:FLAT,POP,JAZZ,ROCKandOFF.
Note:AbilitytomanuallyadjustBassandTreblesettingsisdisabledwhenapresetequalizationcurveisselected.SettingequalizationcurvestoOFFenablesmanualBassandTrebleadjustmentsasoutlinedonpage7.

Press and hold the volume knobuntilBEEPONorBEEPOFFappears,thenrotatethe volume knob to select desired option.Activatingthisfeatureprogramstheunittobeepeachtimecertainbuttonsarepressed.
