XPL Teambuilding has been proven to break barriers down and foster a sense of communication and collaboration amongst otherwise previously separate or conflicting groups, turning them into successful efficient teams.

Get your teams off on the right foot by building trust, friendship and a sense of teamwork and cohesion on an XPL Teambuilding day.

All the thought provoking activities are linked to the company vision, mission, values and competencies, experienced facilitators provide comprehensive debriefs to link and transfer the experiential learning to the working environment.

During the final summary action plans are completed so that there is documented evidence of the key learning points.

Introduction

Q. What is XPL Teambuilding?A. XPL Teambuilding reflects the process of Experiential Learning personified in the literature by Kolb’s learning cycle. In fact the learning cycle is used to explain how human beings develop cognitively through their early development and (hopefully) after adulthood is reached as they experience life and make decisions and schema based on those experiences.

XPL Teambuilding follows the learning cycle by using hands on challenges to give delegates the opportunity to have an experience, reflect on their and teammates behaviour create theories or change their thinking and put those theories into practice. All of the activities are debriefed by our qualified facilitators and the learning related to the topic chosen on the day or specific outcomes of the activity and then back to the work place.

The Company Culture Day has a less direct focus as its primary objective is to bring employees together for a day of fun and fellowship.

However companies will often use the event to communicate a key message or use it as a reward mechanism, which can easily be accommodated.

The programme takes the form of a succession of fun activities which are chosen based on your particular requirements and needs. For instance, culturally sensitive activities can be omitted or special arrangements made for ladies.

Employees are put into groups and good natured competition is encouraged throughout the day, often by means of a points system. Simple prizes are awarded to enable an enjoyable climax to the programme.

The leadership and direction of any company is, naturally of ultimate importance. Changing Attitudes runs two amazing programmes to help create a vision, link behaviour to that vision and drive the company direction.

The Leadership Visioning Programme challenges leaders and change sponsors or agents to create a new company vision, mission and values or to explore fully current mission, vision and values and understand and implement behaviour change. A clear action vision of the company in five years’ time is one of the takeaways of the programme. This is an ideal complement to any company conference or performance management initiative and is delivered in a fun and creative way.

The Team Charter Programme is designed to get managers and general employees to really live the company values rather than just have an ability to recite a mission statement. The employees themselves create a team charter which identifies how they will deal with peers, managers, direct reports and all stakeholders. The end result is a live document, behaviour change and a more cohesive working environment.
