Excel Automation

We automate the many manual processes within Excel that many find too time-consuming or complex to quickly deliver. For our clients this saves considerable time, cuts down on human intervention and input errors, allowing them to be more productive by analysing data rather than creating it.

The tools we build are bespoke to a specific client need. These solutions include the following:

· Automated analysis tools · Reporting suites

· Standardised data collection templates · Consolidation tools

· Dashboard reports · PowerPoint & PDF Automation

Access Databases

MS Access is a versatile tool for working with sets of data. It is flexible, low cost, and scalable and when used in conjunction with Excel, can become a powerful management reporting and decision making tool. We use Access to manage multiple file formats and import or link directly to data stored in other applications and databases including Excel and SQL Server.

Typical applications may include the following:

· CRM systems · Sales tracking tools

· Facilities management tracking · Change programme management

· Order processing tools

Dashboards

Data analysis is an essential element to gauging business performance. Dashboards and KPI reporting help management to focus on key areas of the business. For more complex analysis the ability to drill further into information is a critical requirement. Dashboards help our clients focus on the information they need.

Dashboards are bespoke to each client need and might include the following:

· Dynamic KPI charts · Drill down capability

· Real-time reporting · Simple navigation

· Accurate analysis · Single page headline data

· Stand out graphics

Management Information Systems

Management Information Systems (MIS) are tools that help clients to evaluate and efficiently manage various business functions. We build bespoke MIS using Access and Excel enabling our clients to focus on the key issues within their department or project. This provides insightful indications on direction for resource allocation and future development.

Whilst there are very large enterprise systems available in the market place, usually with a hefty price tag, the MIS we build fill the gap between these large systems and the simple spreadsheet currently used by most managers. xlteq MIS are effective and quickly give you what you need without a lengthy procurement specification and build process.

· KPI Tracking · CRM

· Programme Management

Data Cleaning

A major problem for many companies is the process of detecting and correcting corrupt or inaccurate records in large data sources. This can include removing duplicate records from databases or validating the data stored in specific fields. Data cleaning is especially important when combining data from different sources, whether they be Excel spreadsheets, Access or SQL databases, in fact any data sources or legacy data feeds.

Typical data cleaning projects involve:

· Identifying incomplete information · Validating Data

· Removing redundant information · Fixing inaccurate data

· Combining data from multiple sources · Deleting Duplicated records

Managed Service Desk

Companies don’t always have the resource to manage and produce regular business reporting. The frequency may be quarterly, monthly, weekly, or even daily. xlteq Managed Services Desk can provide this as a service without you having to outlay significant overhead and time. Typically we take multiple data feeds from a variety of sources and clean. analyse, and build bespoke client driven reports as PDF, Excel or PowerPoint files.

Examples of output include:

· Daily Sales Tracking · Financial Reports

· HR Summary Reports · Quarterly Board Packs

· Programme Management Reporting

PowerPoint & PDF Automation

Often organisations have to manually import or manipulate data within Excel or Access before producing PowerPoints PDF presentations. We build automated tools that enable managers to produce these presentations at the press of a button. For our customers this means more time is spent understanding the reports, seeing actionable trends and making business decisions.

Benefits of PowerPoint and PDF automation include:

· Time saving · Error eradication

· Standardisation
