Xerox DocuMate 765With the DocuMate 765 you can increase productivity and reduce the total cost of scanning, all at an affordable price. The DocuMate 765 production scanner offers a powerful combination of image quality, 10,000 page daily duty cycle and 65 pages per minute scanning speed in portrait. It has the ability to scan a wide range of document sizes and supports long document scanning up to 864 mm. Powered by Visioneer OneTouch scanning technology the DocuMate 765 simplifies scan jobs and workflows by eliminating the multiple steps usually required to save scanned documents in popular file formats, including searchable PDFs. It can then send them direct to industry-leading ECM applications including Microsoft SharePoint, DocuWare and Xerox DocuShare (among others) and also to devices such as printers and storage systems in just one touch.

Visioneer OneTouchVisioneer OneTouch is an easy to use utility that connects the DocuMate scanner with a powerful set of scanner settings to greatly improve the efficiency of your workflow – so that with one touch, the document is scanned automatically to email, Word, your printer, or simply a file folder.

In addition to scanning directly to all popular destinations, Visioneer OneTouch also links the DocuMate 765 with industry-leading document management software, such as Microsoft SharePoint, DocuWare and Xerox DocuShare – forming an easy to use workflow from paper to a selected destination. A Software Development Kit (SDK) is also available which provides the ability to develop specific links and integrate them into the Visioneer OneTouch control panel quickly and easily.

Kofax VRS ProfessionalAIPE (Adrenaline Image Processing Engine)AIPE is a Kofax software product that adds a range of functions to your ImageControls scan application. It includes the Enhanced Bar Code engine and Patch Code detection, which supports any image type (bitonal, greyscale or colour). For Bitonal image processing, AIPE provides On-the-Fly Rotation, Line Removal and a range of Image Enhancement Filters.

Auto RotationElectronically rotates the image so that it can be read right side up by the scanner operator.

Auto Colour DetectEliminates the pre-sorting of batched documents and the inserting of patch codes and separator sheets previously needed to capture colour content.

Blank Page DeletionEliminates blank pages when scanned in duplex – reducing files sizes and storage requirements. It also reduces document preparation, as you can put both simplex and duplex documents in the same batch.

Ultrasonic Double Feed DetectionUltrasonic multifeed uses sound waves to detect if there are multiple documents going through the scanner at the same time and intelligently recognises holes punched into a document – assuring that all documents get scanned.

Auto ResolveIf a multifeed is detected the scanner prevents the image from being sent to the scanning application – it is then immediately re-scanned without losing its place in the image batch.

Multifeed IgnoreThe scanner can be set up to allow an intended multifeed document such as envelopes, documents with sticky notes or photographs, to be successfully scanned – allowing you to capture all information in and on the document without extra document preparation.

User Utility FeatureThe DocuMate 765’s smart design includes a User Utility Feature which helps to reduce the level of service calls and extend the life of the scanner by enabling the scanner to be maintained by the user. The scanner operator can track the total number of scans, the software version and cleaning schedule – it can also help extend the life of the scanner by tracking preventative maintenance activities. If there is an issue, the User Utility can help diagnose it and by providing instant scanner status, time to resolution is often shortened – keeping the scanner operating a peak capacity.

Imprinter OptionThe DocuMate 765 has an optional, user installable pre-scan, front-page Imprinter, which allows the user to print a user-defined text ‘string’ upon the front side of your documents on a ‘pre-scan’ basis. These strings can be used to include information about when and who scanned the document or any other relevant details about the document.
