About WXWX New York Women Executives in Real Estate empowers women to build successful careers in the commercial real estate industry, supporting them at all stages of their professional development. For more than two decades, WX has been an invitation-only association for New York’s executive women actively engaged in the commercial real estate industry. Members come from a variety of backgrounds, from owners, developers and brokers to architects, engineers, bankers and lawyers.

WX MissionWX promotes the advancement of women in commercial real estate, enhances the public perception of the role of women within the industry and promotes the highest standards of professionalism, ethics and integrity in the field. WX offers its more than 200 members valuable networking opportunities and innovative and relevant programming, including educational seminars, targeted group discussions, and informative meetings with industry leaders on current topics of interest.

WX Charitable FundA duly qualified 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, the WX Charitable Fund Ltd. works closely with WX, Inc. The Fund supports the WX Scholars Program and partners with various philanthropic organizations, including those supporting women’s careers in real estate. It makes targeted charitable donations and provides WX members opportunities to volunteer their time to these and other community service organizations.

WX Scholars ProgramA sought-after scholarship program, supported by the WX Charitable Fund, is designed to encourage and support bright and talented young women seeking a career in New York commercial real estate by providing special programming and access to WX’s membership through mentoring. Scholarships are awarded on an annual basis to promising students in their final year of study in an undergraduate or graduate real estate program.

WX Mentoring ProgramEach WX scholar is eligible to participate in the WX Mentoring Program, which is designed to promote their advancement in the commercial real estate profession. The two-year program offers formal mentoring events, including educational programming and networking, as well as valuable guidance and advice from the mentor. WX members and scholars build long-lasting relationships that often endure for many years.
