TASK FORCE GOALS•Increase Participation—At Area and Assembly levels•Broaden Representation—From Groups & Districts at Assembly•Enhance Communication—Across Texas West•Strengthen Assembly Financial Position
SUGGESTED ACTIONS• Re-evaluate Assembly—Location, frequency, agenda, content,
length, consider other media (video/teleconference).• Redraw District boundaries—Provide parity in representation.
Facilitate easier collaboration within District.• Enhance communication—Transition to primarily web-based.
Explore the use of social media. Emphasize co-mmunicate…to receive information and respond, two-way interaction.• Strengthen groups and districts—Outreach to support those
that struggle. Provide continuing education for DR’s, GR’s, and coordinators. Establish a formal Mentor Program.• Realign Finances—Increase revenue, reduce discretionary
spending, balance budget.
