Slide 2 Written by Braeden and Cole Slide 3 A knight was a usually referred to as a warrior or a nobleman. During the Middle Ages being called a knight meant a mounted or armored soldier. Originally knights rode on horseback, but it commonly became connected to nobility or social status, most likely because of the cost of the cavalry Slide 4 First, you were a Page. Starting at age seven and ending at age fourteen. The page was basically a servant(shined armor and weapons, groomed horse, and so on) Next you became a Squire. From the end of your page training to age twenty- one(when you became a knight) This is when your real training began. While a squire you were the knights assistant and learned how to wear heavy armor and use a lance. NOW YOU WERE A KNIGHT!!!!!! Slide 5 CCrusades were very bloody battles. CCrusades were battles between Christians and Muslims. EEven though there were many deaths, Europe's economy still grew.
