CONTEXT: Issue: Quality Problem with Shipped Item. Customer is very unhappy. Customer Mail below Item Reception date and time: 05 April 2015 – 10:35 am Complaint date and time: 05 April 2015 – 11:00 am Message: The bag delivered has a tag which shows packed in June 2014. Why such an old bag is being delivered is a question I’d like to pose first. The bag has a tear and 2 stitch issues around the zip area. To spend almost Rs. 4700 (no discounts applicable) and to be delivered an old bag with 3 visible defects is absolutely not acceptable. I am unhappy with the product delivered, and hence I must express my dissatisfaction here. The item was ordered as a birthday gift for my mother (her birthday is on 7thApr)and it is frustrating that you delivered a damaged gift at a time when I cannot expect to get another gift delivered for her. I want a full refund for the product immediately and do send someone to pick up the worthless item you have delivered. RESPONSE: Hello Sir, We have received your complaint and I assure you that your dissatisfaction has been noted. We are extremely sorry that you, as a valued customer had to go through such a bad experience. We will initiate the proceedings for a full refund by 07Apr2015 and the bag will be picked up by the same transporter that delivered it on a date and time of your convenience (before 09Apr2015). However, we request you to consider our proposal to replace the damaged product you have received, within a day (i.e. by 06Apr2015) through our express delivery service, so that the gift is delivered before your Mother’s birthday. The charges for the express delivery will be borne entirely by Somekart, as we would like to make amends for the inconvenience caused to you. The damaged product will be picked up by the transporter, who makes the replacement delivery. Please do confirm before 9:00am tomorrow, whether you would like us to act on our offer, so that we may proceed with shipping the replacement item.
