This is the hallmark of the Wall Rack™ system. It was introduced in 1989 to meet the need for a stationary rack that utilizes as little wall and floor space as possible. Because the three sections are stored in a vertical line, the lower mat section only protrudes approximately 4’ from the wall, which allows room for all your other physical education equipment. The winch and loading procedures are identical to our Model MR3. This unit permanently attaches at four points on the floor and four points on the wall, so you can be certain it will never move. Customized sized units are popular with this model. Itís perfectly complimented by our Model MM1, the Mat Mate, as that unit will deliver mat sections to and from the storage and competition areas, with no lifting. The Wall Rack has a shipping weight of 750 lbs, and can be assembled, installed and ready for use in about 4 hours. The Resi-Wheeler TM portable transportation device was designed to move mat sections over long distances and low lying obstacles. If your racks are stored in an active area, you’ll want a set of padded Bumper Guards to reduce the chance of impact type injuries. Constructed with 3/4”stained and treated plywood, and wrapped in RESILITE’s Kwik-Stik foam, they’ll offer you years of maintenance free service. They attach with a belted, nylon strap, and are easy to install and remove.

The Mat SackTM protects your valuable mats. The Mat Sack™ protective covering for wrestling mats protects your valuable mats Many school districts find that their mats are often damaged when being moved, or by vandalism. The Mat Sack solves those problems. Each Mat Sack is made with a tough, 18 oz. vinyl coated nylon fabric, and they come in a variety of school colors for you to choose from: navy blue, royal blue, yellow, red, kelly green, tan, orange, gray, black. They’re made in three sections, each 14’ in length, and each has five velcro mat straps sewn in. Custom sized sections are available upon request. Simply roll your mats up tightly [be sure to use your cardboard mat tubes], and then secure with the straps.

Mat Straps keep your mat from unrolling, which makes it much easier to move and store. Please be sure to have at least four mat straps per mat section on hand. Space approximately 3 - 4’ apart, and pull the straps just tight enough to be secure. Our straps are made from tough woven nylon and are secured with D-Rings. Each strap is 9’ in length.

Never discard the Mat Tubes that come with your mat.

They’re an integral part of the Mat Rack System. They make mats easier to roll up, and far easier to lift and transport. Please be sure to periodically roll your mats from the opposite ends to discourage wrinkling. A standard sized mat tube is 8” in diameter and 12’ in length. Custom sizes are available upon request.
