Term 4 Kindergarten Orientation

Our wonderful kindergarten class of 2014 had their final transition day last Friday. Miss Cole with help from Mrs Cush, Mrs Findlater and Mrs Rowland created a fabulous party classroom centred around the theme of the Mad Hatters tea party. The children were presented with their graduation certificate packs for completing all their transition days at Warialda Public School.

80 Merits Rewards Day

Students who have earned 80 merits or more were invited to participate in an awards day last Wednesday. Congratulations to all those fabulous students. Wow!! What a great time you had.

NRL Skills Development

We have been very lucky to have Mr Peter Stevens back in our school taking the students through league tag drills and skill development. We thank the NRL Development team for the time they give to our school. The students really appreciate it.

On Friday this week we will be using these skills in our League Tag Gala Day to be held at the Recreation ground. More information can be found on pages 3 and 4 of this weeks newsletter.

Northern Zone Cricket Trials

Congratulations to Isabella Reardon, Courtney Barwick, Rachel Coulton, Hannah Tooley and Rosie Mayne for making the trip to Gunnedah to compete in the Northern Zone Cricket Trials. They represented our school with great sportsman-ship and pride.

Congratulations to Drew Marle and Hunter Rose who both gained selection in the Northern Zone Cricket Squad. The boys will be off to Tamworth this week.
