Challenge yourself in 2012 and compete in the following road races: Danbury ½ Marathon (4/1), Branford 5-Mile Road Race (6/17), Fairfield ½ Marathon (6/24) and New Haven 20K (9/3). Awards are given to the three lowest combined times in the following categories: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+.

For over 20 years, JB Sports has organized some of New England’s top running

events and health walks. With over 30,000 participants annually, our events

have raised over $2,000,000 for charity.

In an effort to join the green movement, JB Sports is substantially reducing

the printing of individual race applications. Past and future participants will

now receive this race application catalog, a collection of all upcoming JB Sports

events. We will make every effort to print and mail less in the upcoming years

and encourage participants to register online and go green with us!

In addition to reducing our printing and postage, JB Sports and Crystal Rock

have teamed up to provide more environmentally friendly options for providing

water at many of our events. When other green-friendly options are available,

individual water bottles will not be provided.

Julia’s Run for Children is held annually at Yale, New Haven, CT to celebrate the life of Julia Rusinek, her passion for running, and her commitment to making a difference in the lives of children. The run is a fundraiser for LEAP, a

program to promote success among the children in New Haven. The youth is engaged in mentorships to create a sense of responsibility, a feeling of belonging and empowerment. Julia’s Run contributions to LEAP total over $100,000.

Starting and finishing at Yale University’s Cross Campus, the 4 mile run passes stately mansions and loops through Edgerton Park. Kids under 12 can enjoy the 0.7 mile Fun Run. After the race, join us for awards, refreshments and a raffle.

This mostly flat course runs around East Rock Park and passes

who died in a car accident May 2009. The picturesque 5K starts

portion of the Farmington Canal Trail. On course music. Kids Fun Run

Without Boundaries, who helps countless individuals with mental and

physical disabilities lead a more productive and fulfilling life. Fundraise

Start your Thanksgiving Day right and raise money for the

Soundview Family YMCA and Branford Rotary Foundation. Scenic
