Flexibility is being open to the need for change. Many unexpected things happen to us. We cannot control the things that happen. Being flexible means that instead of just getting upset, you see difficulties as a challenge.
You are practising flexibility when you…..
Recognise a bad habit
Want to change
Ask God for help
Try new ways to do things

For all those who attended the FIESTA Mass in the Mercy Hall on Sunday witnessed a beautiful celebration of the many cultures at St Mark’s. The Mass was celebrated by Monsignor Peter Meneely, our Parish Priest’s Fr Joseph and Fr Bang and visiting priests from surrounding parishes. Special guests included Anastasia Palaszczuk and the Holy Spirit Sisters. The Mass reflected the tra-ditions of various communities of our parish. It was a privilege to be part of such a wonderful celebration.

Day is our national day of action dedicated to reminding everyone that any day is the day to ask, “Are you ok?” and support those struggling with life . Showing your support with this event can be as simple as learning R U OK?’s four steps so you can have a conversation that could change a life. The four steps are:
By starting a conversation and commenting on the changes you’ve noticed, you could help that family member, friend or workmate open up. If they say they are not ok, you can follow our conversation steps to show them they’re supported and help them find strategies to better manage the load. If they are ok, that person will know you’re someone who cares enough to ask. For more information about R U OK? Day look at the website https://www.ruok.org.au/join-r-u-ok-day.
