MINISTRY NEWS December 23 Music Sunday - As a way to prepare your heart for the celebration of the birth of our Savior, please join us for worship at both services with Christmas Memories and musical gifts from a variety of musical groups and instrumentalists. The adult, youth and children choirs along with various bell groups will be sharing music at the 11:15 service. The Refuge band along with the children choir will be sharing music at the 9:00 service. Join us! The Thursday new morning playgroup starting in January is looking for retired folks to volunteer a day or two. All you need to do is come hang out with the moms/dads/caregivers and children. Estimate of Giving Cards- If you have not yet made a 2019 pledge, Estimate of Giving cards are located in the narthex of the Chapel and Sanctuary, Colonnade and on the table outside of the Chapel. From the Property Ministry - Thanks to the Boy Scouts, Scout leaders and parents, and to the church members who helped rake leaves at the church on Saturday under less than desirable weather conditions. Special thanks to the following people who cut up and dragged to the street mountains of tree debris from the ice storm: Marc Steck, Edwin & Caroline Lancaster, Bert Adamson, Jeff Loomis, Curtis, Margaret & Andrew Foltz, Andi & Andy Shifflett, and Sunday Night Youth Group. Thanks also to Mark Hackley for donating his time and resources for cleaning the church signs and adding the required ‘1904’ to the lower parking lot sign. Advent Wreath - We are grateful for new members leading at the 9:00 service and confirmation youth and their mentors leading at the 11:15 service this advent season. Also, many thanks to Debbie Russell and Mary Smith for organizing the readers each year. It is the time of year when we take the time to show our appreciation for our staff and provide the opportunity for members of the congregation to contribute towards a Christmas bonus. If you are interested in participating, please give your contribution to a member of the personnel ministry or drop it by the church office by Sunday, December 23, 2018. December 23 – Music Sunday - As a way to prepare your heart for the celebration of the birth of our Savior,

please join us for worship at both services with Christmas Memories and musical gifts from a variety of musical groups and instrumentalists. The adult, youth and children choirs along with various bell groups will be sharing music at the 11:15 service. The Refuge band along with the children choir will be sharing music at the 9:00 service. Join us!

Ministry News December 16, 2018

The annual church-wide Westminster Christmas Dinner

will be held this evening at 6:00 pm in the Chapel. The Christmas Dinner is not just for Westminster members, but for

everyone who participates in any way at Westminster. The meal, which will be covered dish,

will be followed by entertainment. Families of 3 or more are asked to bring an entrée and a side dish (either a

salad, vegetable, or dessert). Families of 1 or 2, please bring one dish (either an entrée, a salad, vegetable, or dessert) to share. Summit Square residents need

not bring a dish to share. Dinner will be followed by a hand bell performance and Christmas pageant in the

sanctuary.
