Cape Farewell

The Infusion:

Organic rooibos from the Western Cape, South Africa, The needle-like leaves of the plant are oxidized, which gives the plant its distinctive mahogany colour. As it is not a real tea, rooibos

does not contain caffeine, it is also low in tannin and contains a high level of antioxidants.

The Name: Mr. Jones came up with the name “Cape” for the South African origin of the tea and liked the melancholy of the “Farewell”

Nice Nancy

The Infusion: Organic lemon verbena from Spain. The herb originates in South America and can now be

found in the Mediterranean parts of Europe. The olive green, pointy leaves of the shrub spread a nice lemony aroma when bruised.

The Name: As Verbena is big in France, Mr. Jones came up with a name which could be pronounced in French as well as English

Chef Chaoun

The Tea: Organic Chun Mee from China and organic green tea from India with organic mint leaves

The Name: Chef chaouen is a Moroccan village in the Rif Mountains. Named after the horn-like mountain, it is known for its blue houses and buildings

Natural High

The Infusion:

Organic chamomile from Egypt. It contains only the flowers of the plant and Mr. Jones uses the first crop of the year, which has the most apple like taste.

The Name: Chamomile is said to have a calming and soothing effect. The name also refers to Vanessa Paradis song with the same title.

Little Green Bag

The Tea:

Organic green tea from Nilgiri Mountains, Korakundah estate in India. It is bought on the basis of fair trade principles, awarding the farmers an extra premium on the price.

The Name: It refers to the song “Little Green Bag” by a Dutch singer who was acclaimed a cult status after Quentin Tarantino used it as the title song for the movie Reservoir Dogs

The Name: It refers to the John Lennon song and links an Indian Chai to Karma

Monkey’s Wedding

The Tea: 95% black tea & 5% green tea from Nilgiri Mountains, Korakundah estate in India,

flavoured with Bergamot oil. Bergamot oil is extracted from the peel of the bergamot orange.

The Name: It means rain and sunshine at the same time. In the first days of Mr. Jones, the blend of tea was 50/50 green and black
