You and I have a piece of history in common. Even if we do not speak the same language we understand each other very well when it comes to Youth, skills, competence, excellence, and passion!
We have decided to give some of our time, expertise and experience to the Youth that inspires us as well as to the WorldSkills movement that will become tomorrow what we make of it today.
Because I practiced my profession and have understood the outlines and the immense possibilities, I am deeply convinced that we must go faster and further in all the actions of WorldSkills. The two disappointments that we experienced in 2009 and 2015 in our previous bids have taught us a lot and today we have both the self-confidence and the humility to tell you
that we are ready to welcome you for the WorldSkills Competition 2023 in Lyon.
All the political, economic and social forces have converged and are carrying with optimism and determination our project. All have understood the need to learn from each and every one of you. All wish to express their desire to host the world's largest event of professional excellence.
Like every young champion who proudly wears the jersey of their country, my team and I are very proud to bring to your attention the bid dossier of France to welcome you for the WorldSkills Competition 2023 in Lyon.
For France, the WorldSkills Competition will be the largest historical event dedicated to excellence ever organized.
We need you to put on this event.
We need you to make this dream come true!
