David Telling founded Australian FlightCraft in 1968. This world approved and highly coveted range of boats was subsequently sold to Malibu Boats in 1989. The ZR6 is a compilation of over 50 years experience in hull design, manufacturing and ingenuity evolved through direct participation in the water sports industry.

The ZR6 was designed to fulfil a void within the V-Drive wakeboard market by combining good looks, speed and performance with the revolutionary new Hydro Thrust Design (patent pending), and GO Crossover Surf Tabs. This progressive technology allows a WakeCraft owner the luxury of creating a variable wake for all facets of water sports without spray or a rooster tail.

To further the tech advancement of WakeCraft David successfully licensed the PureVert™ Ballast System from inventor Mike Murphy – known as Quick Fill™ at WakeCraft this technology now gives Wakecraft the best ballast system in the industry, filling and emptying the large under floor ballast with 2,050 lbs in under 1 minute - /// and 4000 Lbs Ballast on the ZR8 24 ft +

This boat is a pleasure to drive, with exceptional visibility through our one piece windshield combined with the smooth performance of the saltwater ready 6.2L 370 HP Mercury motor (JD Power Awarded). With the new Quick Fill™ Ballast System adding 2,050 lbs of ballast all under the floor. And when it comes to a party – this boat does not stop. With a standard 1400 watts of power integrated into 10 strategically placed speakers, complimented by a booming 10" subwoofer in enclosed ported box, the ZR6 will make your down-time as much fun as your sessions behind the boat.

With heated seats, a capacity for 12 in the comfort of a padded open bow and in the wrap-around seating area, the WakeCraft ZR6 is remarkably spacious for a 21-foot boat. The ZR6 is for those who enjoy a variety of recreational water sports, right up to hardcore wakeboarders.
