Soviet Union• The Soviets held the German forces at the

Eurasian border allowing the US, England and France to follow in behind trapping all of Hitler’s forces with Soviets to the East and South. While the remaining Allied forces trapped them to the North and to the West.

• Due to the recruiting and training of more forces to be sent to the battle as soon as their training was over the Soviets lost the most soldiers in the war. But due to their sacrifice they the most pivotal battles on their soil such as Kursk and Stalingrad were won effectively bringing the war closer to an end.

England• The English played a major part in holding back the

German Air force on the Western Front. With the defeat of the German air force due to the smaller more agile planes of the English the moral and hope of the Allied forces was greatly increased. Seeing how one country could fight back the Germans brought about an even larger upbringing of hope and spirits of the Allies.

• Though Britain claimed to do the most in World War II they in fact did very little in the War. Partly because of the first World War and that they were still exhausted from it. One of the largest reason England won the Battle of Britain is due to Winston Churchill and his intelligence.

France• Due to the French acting passively and waiting for the

Germans to attack them so they could have the upper hand they lost a major battle. While the French waited and waited the for the Germans they took their time in preparing the invasion and making sure they had the best way to flank and out maneuver the French. They succeeded in doing so bringing about the capture of France by out numbering them, out maneuvering them, and out flanking them. This defeat cost the French as well as the British hundreds and thousands of soldiers and a good supply of military armor.

• Then as the U.S entered the war they helped the revolution in France as they fought to win back they’re home country. As they won their country back the French and British helped corner Hitler with Russia corning them from the East effectively ended the war.

China• The Chinese were the second largest communist

power in World War II. They held off the large Japanese forces from joining the fight with the Germans and turning their focus to other battles. While at the same time China supplied America with soldiers that helped them give support to the British and Indian forces as well as the American forces keeping the Burma Road open bringing supplies through from India to China.

• Without China keeping the Japanese preoccupied in in the separate front there is a good chance America and the Allies would’ve lost major battles in the fight against the Germans causing countless losses and possibly losing the entire War.
