IMPACT (BASED ON THE SADC PROTOCOLTARGETS)
This project is mainly impacting the lives of women economically as accordingto Article 15-19 on productive resources and employment
SME Forums (Small and Micro Enterprise) that we hold periodically in thecommunities the women are able to voice out their frustrations regarding policyrelated issues on economic development such as registration, taxation and theland tenure system. To a certain extent the registration period has finally been
reduced to three weeks.
The constitution of Swaziland now allows that women can access loanswithout husbands consent.
Women now can access land in the rural Swazi nation land without man.
According to Article 26, they can attend to effects of HIV/AIDS be gettingtreatment and taking care of the orphans and vulnerable children as according
to Article 27.PROJECTS:WOMENEMPOWEREMENT

LESSONS LEARNED
Once women have access to income and markets, theyimprove their self worth and move from being unbankable.
Women are good at paying their loans and meeting their familyand community obligations.
Advocacy becomes easier when the women has a self esteem,
they have shown interest in their welfare and are positively
projecting their ad vocative issues well. This project has
produced shy and weak women to be leaders in their
constituencies now and even participate in politics to improve
their standard of living.
