WORLD LPG FORUMTRAINING WORKSHOPS

BACKGROUNDWorld LPG demand continues to grow at 2-3% per year resulting not only in several million tonnes of additional product entering the market but tens of thousands of new personnel added to the business.

Total demand for LPG is expected to exceed 270 million metric tonnes (mMT) this year. Asia is one of the fastest growing regions and consumes around 35% of global LPG consumption.

The populations of many Asian countries still rely heavily on traditional fuels for their primary energy needs and present great opportuni-ties for LPG development.

There are three issues that can help towards developing the Asian LPG industry in a strong and sustainable manner. A strong communica-tions and branding approach to marketing LPG; realising the true value of the assets in the LPG business and making them work hard; understanding the properties that make LPG such a remarkable energy during times of natural disaster.

This collection of three training courses, held in parallel over one day, focuses on each of these issues and LPG management cannot aord to miss them.

The Power of Communications and Branding (1/2 day)The application of a powerful communications and branding policy is a vital component to achieve safe and sustainable growth of the LPG industry. A strong and eective branding approach of LPG is one of the powerful tools to help achieve this.

Asset Management for LPG Business (1/2 day)LPG is one of those products where the packaging is more expensive than the contents and eectively utilising the assets in the business makes a big dierence the bottom line.

The Role of LPG in Disaster Recovery (1 day)LPG has been found to be invaluable in times of crisis. Recent natural disasters in Japan, Australia and New Zealand have demonstrated this. Learn the lessons and be prepared.
