Company: Founded in 2010, World Climate Ltd is the World’s Foremost Multi-stakeholder Community of Leaders dedicated to accelerate solutions to climate change and the global green economy.
Mission: To stimulate leadership, shape the global green economy, and facilitate collaborations and solutions
between large businesses, financiers, governments and philanthropists at city, regional, national and international scale.
EVENT FORMATS
The format for the various events WCL organises include: - Plenary sessions: World class sessions featuring the highest level of private and public thought-leaders from all sectors of the climate arena.
- Networking & bilateral meetings: Delegates and speakers have plenty of time to interact, exchange ideas, learn from each other and collaborate with one another during purpose-built networking and bilateral sessions at breakfasts, lunches receptions, and breaks.
- Workshops & roundtables: WCS can also organise roundtables on particular themes and sectors, or private intimate seminars with the perfect high-level participants.

• World Climate Summit 2010, 2011, 2012 - The inaugural World Climate Summit in Cancun, along side COP 16, convened global leaders across business and government to identify new collaborative pathways for a prosperous green economy. The Second Annual World Climate Summit in Durban during COP17 saw President Jacob Zuma, 8 Ministers and 800 delegates discuss and collaborate on green solutions. The third summit took place in Doha, Qatar with many Ministers and CEOs from the Middle East.
• 3GF Global Green Growth Forum 2011, 2012 - WCL helped organise 3GF’s first two annual
gatherings in Copenhagen in October 2011 & 2012. The annual two day event brought together 200 carefully selected global leaders across business, finance, and public institutions.
§ World Green Summit 2012 – During Rio+20 WCL organised the inaugural World Green Summit,
a high-level conference committed to progressing sustainable development and the green economy, by engaging business, finance, government and other leaders to find solutions for industries, cities, regions and nations. This was done with Sir Richard Branson, Ted Turner and the Danish Prime Minister.
