Welcome on behalf of President of Sapanish Fishing Federation of Fishing and Casting.

Dear athletes, the Spanish Federation has the honor to receive in our country to the best anglers in the world, who will compete in the magnificent beaches of Andalusia, in the town of Torremolinos, and that will contribute to their unquestionable quality and commitment to the values of sport, sport fishing to occupy the great place it deserves.

I,m convinced that this 30th World Championship Shore Angling Seniors, and 21 º Shore Angling Ladies will be memorable competition for its beautiful scenery, and the organization that certainly made the Andalusian Federation. If time, fish are favorable, I assure a competition that will show the great attractions of our sport.

Finally, I thank the FIPS 'M, in the person of my friends Hubert Waldheim, President, and Pierre Briever, Secretary General and his three Vice Presidents, the trust they have placed in us to organize this important World Championship, and the Andalusian Federation, in the person of its amaizing President José Luis Ganfornina, by the courage and enthusiasm that have hosted the celebration of the World Championship in their internationally renowned beaches.

Dear sport friends, on behalf of Spanish and Andalusian Federation, we are delighteden to get to the best anglers in the World, hoping that the 30ª World Championship Shore Angling Seniors and 21ª World Championship Shore Angling Ladies, it,s a meeting place to show the trae spirit of sporting competition, cooperation adn friendship between our competitors, federations and nations. We are proud that FIPS-M and C.I.P.S., granted to Spain, specially the town of Torremolinos, (Andalucía) the opportunity to hold the biggest sporting event, specially to the spanish federation for their confidence to have porposed our city, Torremolinos in Andalucia as ideal venue for this competition . We happily accept the challenge of presenting the most memorable tournament of the International Federation.

Competition Venue Torremolinos beaches, aprox. lenght 7 km., sand background, easily accessible from the hotel, with a great boardwalk along the entire scenario, the beach width, 40 m aproximately

Fish in the venues: Sargo, Mojarra, Lubina, Herrera, Besugo, Baila. Scoring System. Scores to rank the results in the Competition will be by assigning one point for total weight GRAM obtained from control and weighing, always respecting the minimum size of each species. Baits Allow only those provided by the Organization and will probably consist in 6 boxes of special catalana worm.
