Structure of the workshop:

S1, Thursday, January 8 (3 hours):Giving meaning to the design of learning and collaborative learning. Concept design of collaborative learning.

S2, Friday January 9 (3 hours):Authorship and implementation of collaborative learning through ICT.

The European project affects the METIS improving educational practices we do in different schools, offering high quality technological tools to help in the planning and design of the classes we teach.

METIS looks analyze the feasibility and possibility of applying these tools educational technology in three specific areas: adult education, vocational training and university education

1. Objectives of the Metis

I. Develop an Integrated Learning Environment Design (in English, Ilde), which includes free and open source applications available

II. Conducted a series of workshops for teachers, social institutions in the project, how to use Ilde.

III. To disseminate the project results and maintain a community of teachers.

I. Think about the benefits the use and application of the design of collaborative learning in our educational practice.

II. Present and formed in technological tools the Ilde.

III. Analyze the feasibility these tools in real contexts, exchanging different points of view.

2. Design (activities) learning

We Design (activities) learning is the act of planning new practicesPlans, activities, resources and tools aimed at achieving a specific educational objective in a given situation (METIS project 2012)

2. Collaborative Learning (CL)● Collaborative learning is an educational approach that

involves groups of students working together to solve a problem, complete a task, or create a resource.

● It is based on the idea that learning is an act of nature social.

● Learning occurs through participation active peer, either face to face or online.

● In groups of 3-4 people write at least 3 post-it with benefits that you see on the concepts presented (designing learning activities, collaborative learning, learning communities, designs, etc.)
