Registry developments and plans
• The Norwegian Mapping Authority are developing a new spatial data portal.
• No registry today.
• Scope Primary focus is national spatial data infrastructure
• Content Codelists Namespaces Organizations Application schema
Technical overview
• No registry – not much infrastructure• GeoNetwork for spatial metadata (ISO19139)• Webserver serving files - xml schemas for product
specifications
Connecting registries
• Requirements for connections to the INSPIRE registry? REST API (perform CRUD operations) ISO 19135, GML Dictionary, SKOS Codelists: versioning and suggest new values Application schema: URL to XSD, URL to product specs.
Future development of INSPIRE registry
• How are you using / planning to use the INSPIRE registry (software or service)? Using it as a service in the national spatial data
infrastructure UML model development with codelists served from the
central registry
• Which additional features would you like to see? More standard formats – GML dictionary, SKOS, ISO19135 API – on the fly retrieval of data
