Workshop on ROBOTICs and IOT
Transcript of Workshop on ROBOTICs and IOT
Workshop on ROBOTICs and IOT Conducted on 6th & 7th February 2017
For III B. Tech ECE Students Under IETE Student Forum (ISF)
Embedded Systems have become an integral part of our daily lives with
which we can perform our regular activities with utmost ease. For example, washing machines,
air conditioners etc. A washing machine basically is integrated of a motor that rotates the drum, a
flow sensor, a solenoid valve etc. An air conditioner consists of a temperature sensor,
compressor motor, blower motor etc. The main motto of this workshop is to give a better
understanding of the tech around us.
Internet of Things (IoT) is a becoming very popular among tech-
enthusiasts now-a-days. It is due to the flexibility and smartness it provides to our daily lives. It
is basically an interconnection of devices/appliances connected through a wireless networking
standard, using Internet from anywhere in the world. Its applications are endless ranging from
simple home -appliance control to highly sophisticated smart energy systems & smart cities.
Robotics is everlasting and ever growing field of technology. Modern
Robotics finds endless applications in present day lives. From educational institutions to
industries, from commercial to defense, various types of robots are being deployed to handle
several tasks where human can’t reach or persist. Controlling such robots is a challenging task
now-a-days
In this module, you'll be able to learn the construction of RF joystick ROBOT, and RF
Text transfer from SD card and IOT (Internet of Things) MQTT protocol.
