How do you handle those difficult conversations around performance, career progression, calibration, behav- iours? To achieve full success in almost any role it is increasingly important to be able to gain support ofothers. To work collaboratively with others it is also essential to be aware of our natural impact andadapt it to get the results that are needed.

In this workshop we explore how we get in our own wayand how to remove blockages to our success. Using Goal Mapping tools and techniques and a 7 step processto goal setting delegates will leave the workshop with a roadmap, a CD and confidence that they will achievetheir goal.

Conflict Management and Assertiveness

This workshop is aimed at supporting and encouraging managers torecognise the early stages of conflict and to identify appropriatestrategies for dealing with the conflict. We identify 3 core compo-nents of conflicts and use the 5 Stages of a conflict model tounderstand how and why conflicts escalate and when managersneed to intervene.

Delegates will practice using coaching conversations to support theirinterventions to resolve issues constructively. A framework will becreated during the workshop that the managers can refer to whendealing with informal conflict situations.

Most of us find ourselves frequently ‘swept away’ by the current of thoughts and feelings, worries,pressures, responsibilities; wanting things to be different from how they are right now. This can beparticularly powerful when we are faced with pain, difficulties, illness and stress that confound ourattempts to find a solution or to feel better. Feeling stuck in this way can be draining. Mindfulness canhelp us to work directly with the struggle we sometimes have in relating to life’s experience and indoing so can really improve the quality of our life. This series of 90 minute seminars are designed astasters to introduce mindfulness concepts and practice into the work place.
