Measures:• Intercultural workcamps and youth encounters
• Museum visits and seminars in our youth groups
• Planing and excercising innovative projects for tolerance and international understanding
• Seminars and project days at schools
• Participation at peace ralleys and events
Activism against right-wing extremism
Reasons:• Events of right-wing extremists on our war cemeteries,
which are looked after by the German Wargraves Comission
• Problematic public image of our organisation due to similar rituals on Remembrance Day („Volkstrauertag“) and due to our name
Measures:• House ban for right-wing extremists on our war grave
cemeteries
• Expulsion of right-wing extremists from our organisation
• Inclusion of young people for organizing „Remembrance Day“
• Seminars and workshops against right-wing extremism and group-related hostility at schools and youth organisations
• Activities at peace ralleys (Hamburg and Magdeburg), federal state events (Hesse, Lower-Saxony) and trade fairs
