Elena is the Director of Environmental Services for Macy’s, Inc., and chairperson for Sustainable Initiatives for the Macy’s Design and Construction team. As Director of Environmental Services, she leads the Environmental Services team, and is responsible for the overall implementation of Macy’s Corporate Environmental Programs for nearly 800 facilities. Her focus is to oversee the environmental compliance and project management, facilitate communication between functional groups, and serve as support for the Legal and Real Estate teams. Elena holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Stetson University in Physics, and a Master of Science degree from the University of Cincinnati in Environmental Science. Elena serves on the executive committee for the Greater Cincinnati Green Business Council, The Xavier University Sustainability Advisory Board, and participates on behalf of Macy’s in the Green Umbrella Waste Reduction committee. She is also a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM), and a member of the Alliance of Hazardous Materials Professionals.

Craig Davis is Melink Corporation’s President, where he spends most of his time working to fulfill the company’s mission of changing the world – one building at a time – by helping decision makers implement energy efficient and renewable energy solutions into their commercial facilities.
Prior to assuming this position in January, 2017, Craig served in many capacities since joining Melink Corporation in 2006. Craig is an accomplished inventor, having recently been awarded a granted on enhanced energy saving algorithms for commercial kitchen design.
Craig holds a BFA degree from the University of Cincinnati’s College-Conservatory of Music and a Master’s of Science in Organizational Leadership from Mount St. Joseph University. He is a certified Project Management Professional through the Project Management Institute and Xavier University. Craig is currently serving as an executive committee member of the Greater Cincinnati Green Business Council, on behalf of Melink Corporation. Craig is a lifelong resident of Cincinnati’s west-side, is an avid marathon runner, and enjoys life with his wife, Liz, three young children, and their dog, Norman.

Melanie Boyle is a Diversity and Corporate Social Responsibility Analyst for Fifth Third Bank. Melanie is responsible for executing on strategies that promote and elevate the reputation of the bank, both internally and externally, when it comes to diversity & inclusion, supplier diversity, environmental sustainability and corporate citizenship. Prior to joining Fifth Third, Melanie spent 2 years as the Manager of Corporate Communications for Cintas Corporation. In this role, she was responsible for creating, managing and executing strategies, messages, approaches and tactics to promote Cintas and its products and services.
Melanie spent 6 years as the Manager of Sustainability for Cintas Corporation. She was responsible for developing, as well as, executing the environmental sustainability strategy including the tracking of metrics, employee engagement and the creation of marketing materials and long-term goal-setting recommendations. Melanie has served as Vice President of the Green Umbrella, a regional sustainability alliance in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana, and is a 2013 YWCA Rising Star. She has also been instrumental in the development and continuing work of the Greater Cincinnati Green Business Council (GCGBC), which allows local corporations to collaborate and drive sustainable development in the Greater Cincinnati region. In 2012, Boyle earned project manager certification from Xavier University, where she previously earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology with a minor in Psychology.

Chad Edwards is the principal in charge of sustainability for emersion DESIGN, the first architecture and engineering firm in the world with a LEED Platinum office. He started his sustainability work 3 decades ago on the mesas of New Mexico. Since 2007, emersion has worked in 33 states and 3 countries while being ranked in the top 3% by the US Green Building Council for its leadership in energy and environmental design.
Chad has worked on 9 Net Zero Energy projects, including some of the most sustainable projects in the region, such as an office and manufacturing plant that uses 16% less energy than the average vacant building, a new build K-8 school that will use less than 30% less energy than the average vacant building and the world’s first LEED Platinum and Net Zero Energy police station.
Chad has taught at Cincinnati State and the University of Cincinnati, has presented in regional/ national and international symposia and has been invited to speak to the US House and Senate on sustainability matters. He is a past president of the USGBC SW Ohio Regional Chapter and the Green Umbrella. Chad represents emersion DESIGN on the Greater Cincinnati Green Business Council, where he serves on the Executive Committee. Chad and his wife and children have just moved to the appropriately named Green Township.

(513) 287-2724 [email protected] Mr. Pahutski is Regional Director of Duke Energy’s Ohio and Kentucky Large Account Management team, where he focuses his team of account managers and customer support specialist on helping the region’s largest customers use energy more effectively in their businesses. Prior to assuming this position in April, 2010, Mr. Pahutski was Assistant General Counsel at Duke Energy Corporation, where he focused his in-house legal practice on commercial transactions, intellectual property, and regulatory law. Mr. Pahutski’s career has spanned several other disciplines, including software development, management and marketing. In addition to Duke Energy, Mr. Pahutski has worked for several other Fortune 1000 firms, including Texas Instruments, General Electric, AT&T, and Convergys Corp. Mr. Pahutski represents Duke Energy on the Greater Cincinnati Green Business Council, where he serves on the Executive Committee. Mr. Pahutski holds a B.S. degree in Computer Systems Technology from Spring Garden College, an MBA from the University of Texas at Dallas, and a Juris Doctor from the Salmon P. Chase College of Law, Northern Kentucky University. Mr. Pahutski, his wife Julie, live in Anderson Township, Ohio, and are empty nesters, with a daughter in Columbus, Ohio, and a son in Evanston, Illinois.
