Prof. QU JianVice President of China Development Institute (CDI)Being the SEZ Consultant of the Asian Development Bank, he led his team to plan, develop and upgrade the special economic zones and industrial parks of more than 10 Asian and African countries, including Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Ethiopia, Kenya, Congo (Brazzaville), Côte d'Ivoire, etc.
The Belt and Road Initiative unveiled in 2013 aims to strengthen regional connectivity through a range infrastructure investment projects. It represents a vast amount of opportunities and challenges for the local professionals and enterprises, particularly in the assessment of projects at the feasibility stage.
In this workshop, the speakers will address the challenges and help participants better understand how to conduct feasibility study on Belt and Road projects.
The following topics will be covered:Project valuation techniques;International project valuation standards;Economic appraisal: theory and methods; andFinancial appraisal and development decisions.
