Hairstyling expert Scott Michaels had been working as a professional hairdresser and running his own salon for fifteen years before becoming dissatisfied by the range of poor quality, lacklustre and substandard brands he was working with every day.

Scott set out to create Hairbond as a response to this and believed in creating the finest quality products with a fashionable, professional and stylish brand image.

Since its creation in Scott’s Lancaster based salon, Hairbond has grown into a global brand with award winning and innovative products. CHRIS MOON - CREATIVE DIRECTOR “Leader and driving force of the team”Chris comes from a long line of barbers, his family started their business in 1938 and is still going strong today. He has performed cuts and shaves on some of the biggest stages at shows around the world. Chris is based on the outskirts of Newcastle in the North East of England.

GARETH CLARK - HEAD OF GLOBAL TRAINING “Education and state registration is his game”Gareth is a traditional barber who strives to push the boundaries of education, his values for barbering are very simple: solid foundations and good training will produce a great barber. His shop which he has had for 11 years is based in Didcot just outside Oxford.

All tradition and men only”Jon was trained as an apprentice to his Father, he also gained valuable styling experience working in a female salon, however Mr Old School’s passion has always been in the Barber Shop. Her hairstyles have appeared in more magazines than you have had hot dinners! She was a finalist in UK competitions ‘Search for a Star’ and ‘HJ Barber of the Year’ in 2014 and has worked on some of the biggest stages in the industry. Lynndy is based in Northampton.
