Two Goals:• Raise awareness of the problem of prematurity in the

United States• Reduce the rate of premature birth in the United

States

Areas of Focus:• Accelerate research funding in the United States and

globally.• Expand direct service to NICU-affected families in

the United States• Develop and fund Community Intervention

Programs based on the Kentucky project, with particular attention to the challenges posed by late-preterm deliveries.

• Assume a more outspoken public stance on issues directly related to prematurity prevention.
