ObjectivesSPP aims :1. Building the case for SPP: improving the knowledge on SPP as a

tool to promote sustainable consumption and production, support greener economies and sustainable development.

2. Supporting the implementation of SPP on the ground through increased collaboration, and better access to capacity-building tools and support through SPP experts.

Broader approach required and broader opportunities to use SPP to deliver circular economy benefits

1. to integrate innovative, circular resource efficient business models in Sustainable Public Procurement by through a participative framework that uses SP practices to deliver more circular economies.

2. to develop a longer term goal of providing leadership in sustainable procurement (SP) through an active forum that enables cross-over of circular economy, resource efficient business models and SP initiatives, ideas and research.

Working Group 3A: Integrating Product-Service Systems in Sustainable Public ProcurementKey lessons from the WG: When properly assessed and employed, Product Service

Systems can potentially provide commercially viable and environmentally beneficial alternatives to linear models of procurement, consumption and disposal.
