    1. Purpose

    Since employees are required to work in Odd Shifts and Night Shifts due to business

    demands SPI will provide additional monthly allowances over and above their

    compensation for working in these shifts planned and approved by the Managers

    2. Scope

    This policy is applicable for all employees of SPI ITO, Mysore working in such shifts.This policy is effective from 16-Nov-2011.

    3. Allowance details

    Allowance Amount Shift time

    Odd Shift Allowance Rs. 100/- As planned in the projects

    Night Shift Allowance Rs. 400/- As planned in the projects

    Dinner Rs. 75/- Ends after 9:00 PM / Odd Shifts

    Lunch Rs. 75/- Weekends / Holidays

    Breakfast Rs. 25/- On or before 7 AM / Odd Shifts

    Snacks Rs. 25/- Weekends / Holidays

    Note:If Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner / Snacks are provided by the company then the foodreimbursement is not applicable.

    Food Allowance is applicable only if you are working from office.

    3.1 Odd Shift Allowance applicable for:

    Resources who work from home in planned odd shifts (Part or Full)

    When resources work on weekends and holidays in planned odd shifts

    Employees who are planned during shifts starting at 2 a.m. to 5 a.m. in the mornings and

    for employees whose Planned shifts end after 9.30 p.m.

    3.2 Night Shift Allowance applicable for:

    Planned shifts on weekdays, weekends and holidays

    Resources who work from home in planned night shifts

    All the above applies for Projects working in planned shifts and does not apply for

    employees working during Normal Business hours.

    4. Incentive Scheme forInterviewers:

    Resources, who conduct interviews/drives either out of station or in station, be it over theweekends or planned holidays are applicable to the following scheme/allowance:

    Rs 500- for the first five times per day or compensatory off

    Rs 750 -for the second five times per day or compensatory off

    Rs 1000- for eleventh time onwards per day or compensatory off

    Employees have the option to either opt for cash or for compensatory off in

    accordance with their choice.

    5. Food Facility:

    Breakfast and Lunch will be made available at Food court - Facilities team needs to be

    kept informed in advance by 5:00 PM on working day before weekend / as per the recent

    communication from team facilities.

    Dinner will be made available by facilities team on all days they need to be informed in

    advance latest by 7.30 pm / as per the recent communication from team facilities

    Food reimbursements will be apart from the Shift Allowance.

    6. Procedure for processing allowances and reimbursements

    Night Shift and Odd Shift Allowance: SPM's and above will approve and share the data

    on night shift and odd shifts with HR Operations for Payroll inputs by 20 th of every

    month.

    Food Reimbursements: SPMs and above can approve all the food reimbursements

    enclosing the bills along with indicating the shift timings as well. This approval should be

    submitted to finance department.
