Data collection phase

1. Document all cases prospectively according to study protocol.

2. Collect and photograph dead snakes brought to hospital.3. Collect and store single sample: swabs from bite site,

serum and urine (if venom detection can be performed)4. Send all clinical data monthly electronically or by post5. Monthly phone call by project officer in CMC to clinical

coordinators in collaborating hospitals6. 3 monthly phone/video conference with all clinical centres
