The granite and guartz pebbles are subrounded to subangular, thegranites are commonly 1/4" to 3 ir in diameter, with a lesserfraction of 3" to 6" large pebbles. The quartz fraction isfiner in size 1/4" to l 1/2" in digrey simatrix,
amete". l.ia whole is in a darkliceous, poorly sorted medium grained, massive greywackev/itn scattered traces of sulphidts.
Polymictic with greywacke matrix, essentially the same as lastabove, but with a few pebbles of diabase and small pebbles ofred jasper. Sulphides chalcopyrite, pyrite and trace amounts ofpyrrhotite commonly occur in the vicinity of the conglomeratepebbles as well as irregularly distributed within the matrix.

Very pale areenish-qrey to pale qrey, fine to rr^edium qrained, densehard, well cemented wi th qood silica cement, with qood conchoidalto sub-conchoidal fracture. Quartzite well sorted composed ofsubangular to subrounded quartz qrains. Scattered sulphides 'irregularly distributed throughout the entire interval. Thesulphides are mainly pyrite with very minor pyrrhotite.

Grains of py. 6 po. are concentrated on the margins oflarge clasts. but do not have 'buckshot15 habit.As above j becomine more arenaceous towards end of sect
