The following pages are Bible quotes for you to cut out as cards

and take out as you go through your day. You can contemplate

upon them or memorize them. Many of them I have chosen as

they align with present truth. What is present truth? It is truth

that we need for this timeAdvent truth. That is, truth that

prepares us, yea hastens, the soon Second Coming of Christ. We

need this truth stored up in our minds. It is the Latter Rain that

    will prepare the harvest.

Keep in mind that the Word of God is living. It has the power to

do what it says. And, yes, it is the life of Christ. He is the Word,

and He has the power to perform whatever He instructs and

commands. And this is the power to set us free from the bondageof sin, thus preparing us for His soon Advent.

Please take this seriously. Only a remnantthose who are

serious about their Saviour and seeing His kingdomwill return

    to the great kingdom.

Write the vision, and make it plain

upon tables, that he may run that

readeth it. * For the vision is yet for

an appointed time, but at the end it

shall speak, and not lie: though it

tarry, wait for it; because it will

surely come, it will not tarry ... * The

just shall live by His faith.

    (Habakkuk 2:2-4)

I will bless the LORD at

    all times: His praise

    shall continually be inmy mouth.

    (Psalm 34:1)

    Thou wilt keep him in

perfect peace, whose mind isstayed on Thee: because he

    trusteth in Thee.

    (Isaiah 26:3)

    Sow to yourselves in

righteousness, reap in mercy;break up your fallow ground:

    * for it is time to seek the

LORD, till He come and rain

    righteousness upon you.

    (Hosea 10:12)

Ask ye of the LORD rain in the

time of the latter rain; so the

    LORD shall make bright clouds,

and give them showers of rain,

to every one grass in the field.

    (Zechariah 10:1)

Come unto Me, all ye that labour

and are heavy laden, and I will give

you rest. * Take My yoke upon you

and learn of Me; for I am meek andlowly in heart: and ye shall find rest

unto your souls. * For My yoke is

easy, and My burden is light.

    (Matthew 11:28-30)

Whether therefore ye eat,or drink, or whatsoever

ye do, do all to the glory

    of God. (1 Corinthians 10:31)

    (1) And after these things I saw another angel come

down from heaven, having great power; and the earth

was lightened with His glory. (2) And He criedmightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great

is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of

devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of

every unclean and hateful bird. For all nations have

drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and

the kings of the earth have committed fornication with

her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich

through the abundance of her delicacies. (3) And I

heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of

her, My people, that ye be not partakers of her sins,

and that ye receive not of her plagues. (Revelation 18:1-4)

And I saw another angel fly in the midst of

heaven, having the everlasting gospel to

preach unto them that dwell on the earth,

and to every nation, and kindred, and

tongue, and people, saying with a loud voice,

Fear God, and give glory to Him; for the

hour of His judgment is come: * and

worship Him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

    (Revelation 14:6, 7)

    And there followed another

    angel, saying, Babylon is

    fallen, is fallen, that great

city, because she made allnations drink of the wine of

    the wrath of her fornication.

    (Revelation 14:8)

And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud

voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and

receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, the

same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God,

which is poured out without mixture into the cup ofHis indignation; * and he shall be tormented with fire

and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and

in the presence of the Lamb: and the smoke of their

torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: * and they

have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and

his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his

name. * Here is the patience of the saints: here are

they that keep the commandments of God, and the

    faith of Jesus. (Revelation 14:9-12)

Ye are a chosen generation, a royalpriesthood, an holy nation, a

    peculiar people; that ye should

show forth the praises of Him who

hath called you out of darkness

    into His marvellous light.

    (1 Peter 2:9)

    Whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever

things are just, whatsoever things are

    pure, whatsoever things are lovely,

whatsoever things are of good report; if

there be any virtue, and if there be any

    praise, think on these things.

    (Philippians 4:8)

For God so loved the world,

that He gave His only begotten

    Son, that whosoever believeth

in Him should not perish, but

    have everlasting life.

    (John 3:16)

Remember the Sabbath Day, to keep it holy. * Six

days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: but

the seventh day is the Sabbath of the LORD thy

God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor

thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor

thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger

that is within thy gates: * for in six days the

LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all

that in them is, and rested the seventh day: *

wherefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath Day

    and hallowed it. (Exodus 20:8-11)

    (1) Thou shalt have no other gods before Me

(2)Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or

any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or

that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water

under the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to

them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a

jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon

the children unto the third and fourth generation of

them that hate Me; and showing mercy unto

thousands of them that love Me, and keep My

commandments. (3)Thou shalt not take the name of the

LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him

guiltless that taketh His name in vain. (Exodus 20:3-7)

    (5) Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy

days may be long upon the land which the

LORD thy God giveth thee. (6) Thou shalt not

kill. (7) Thou shalt not commit adultery.

    (8) Thou shalt not steal. (9) Thou shalt not

bear false witness against thy neighbour.

    (10) Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's

house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour'swife, nor his manservant, nor his

maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any

thing that [is] thy neighbour's. (Exodus 20:12-17)

    I am with you

    always, even unto

    the end of the world.

    (Matthew 28:20)

    Great peace have

they which love ThyLaw: and nothing

    shall offend them.

    (Psalm 119:165)

God came from Teman, and the HolyOne from mount Paran. Selah. His

glory covered the heavens, and the

earth was full of His praise. * And His

brightness was as the light; He had

bright beams coming out of His side:

and there was the hiding of

His power. (Habakkuk 3:3, 4, margin)

This is the generation of them that seek Him

that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah. * Lift up your

heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting

doors; and the King of glory shall come in. Who

is this King of glory? The LORD strong and

mighty, the LORD mighty in battle. * Lift up your

heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye

everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall

come in. Who is this King of glory? The LORD of

hosts, He is the King of glory. Selah.

    (Psalm 24:6-10)

    The kingdom of God cometh

    not with observation: neither

shall they say, Lo here! or, lo

there! for, behold, thekingdom of God is within you.

    (Luke 17:20, 21)

Be astonished, O ye heavens, at this, and

be horribly afraid, be ye very desolate

saith the LORD. For My people have

committed two evils; they have forsaken

Me the fountain of living waters, and

    hewed them out cisterns, broken

cisterns, that can hold no water.

    (Jeremiah 2:12, 13)

As I live, saith the Lord GOD, Ihave no pleasure in the death of

the wicked; but that the wicked

turn from his way and live:

Turn ye, turn ye from your evil

ways; for why will ye die?

Ask, and it shall be given you; seek,

and ye shall find; knock, and it shall

be opened unto you: for every one

that asketh receiveth; and he that

seeketh findeth; and to him that

    knocketh it shall be opened.

    (Matthew 7:7, 8)

If we ask any thing according

to His will, He heareth us: and

if we know that He hear us,

whatsoever we ask, we knowthat we have the petitions that

    we desired of Him.

    (1 John 5:14, 15)

    What things soever ye

desire, when ye pray, believethat ye receive them, and ye

    shall have them.

    (Mark 11:24)

God hath not given usthe spirit of fear; but

    of power, and of love,

    and of a sound mind.

    (2 Timothy 1:7)

Love not the world, neither the things that are

in the world. If any man love the world, the

love of the Father is not in him. * For all that is

in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust

of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the

Father, but is of the world. And the world

passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that

doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

    (1 John 2:15-17)

If we confess our sins, He is

    faithful and just to forgive

us our sins, and to cleanseus from all unrighteousness.

    (1 John 1:9)

    Whosoever is born of God

doth not commit sin; for Hisseed remaineth in him: and

he cannot sin, because he is

    born of God.

    (1 John 3:9)

Thou wilt show me thepath of life: in Thy

    presence is fulness of joy;

at Thy right hand there are

    pleasures for evermore.

Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is My throne,

and the earth is My footstool: Where is the house

that ye build unto Me? And where is the place of

My rest? * For all those things hath Mine hand

made, and all those things have been, saith the

LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him

that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and

    trembleth at My Word.

    (Isaiah 66:1, 2)

The mystery which hath been hid

from ages and from generations ...

now is made manifest to His saints:

to whom God would make known

what is the riches of the glory of thismystery among the Gentiles; which

is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

    (Colossians 1:26, 27)

There remaineth therefore a rest to the

people of God. For he that is entered

into His rest, he also hath ceased fromhis own works, as God did from His. *

Let us labour therefore to enter into

that rest, lest any man fall after the

    same example of unbelief.

    (Hebrews 4:9-11)

Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose

the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavyburdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and

that ye break every yoke? Is it not to deal thy

bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the

poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou

seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that

thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh? *

Then shall thy light break forth as the morning,

and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and

thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory

of the LORD shall be thy rereward. (Isaiah 58:6-8)

And they that shall be of thee shall

build the old waste places: Thou shalt

raise up the foundations of many

generations; and thou shalt be called,

The repairer of the breach, The

restorer of paths to dwell in.

    (Isaiah 58:12)

If thou turn away thy foot from the Sabbath, from

doing thy pleasure on My holy day; and call the

Sabbath a delight, the holy of the LORD

honourable; and shalt honour Him, not doing thine

own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor

speaking thine own words: then shalt thou delightthyself in the LORD; * and I will cause thee to ride

upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee

with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth

of the LORD hath spoken it.

    (Isaiah 58:13, 14)

The mind must be restrained, and not allowed to

wander. It should be trained to dwell upon the

Scriptures, and upon noble, elevating themes

Portions of Scripture, even whole chapters, may becommitted to memory, to be repeated when Satan

comes in with his temptations. The fifty-eighth

chapter of Isaiah is a profitable one for this purpose

Wall the soul in with the restrictions and instructions

given by inspiration of the Spirit of God. When Satan

would lead the mind to dwell upon earthly and

sensual things, he is most effectually resisted with

It is written. (Review and Herald, 4/8/84

Peace I leave with you, My peace

I give unto you: not as the world

giveth, give I unto you. Let not

    your heart be troubled, neither

    let it be afraid.

Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity

envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is

not puffed up, doth not behave itself

unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily

provoked, thinketh no evil; rejoiceth not in

iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; beareth

all things, believeth all things, hopeth all

    things, endureth all things.

    (1 Corinthians 13:4-7)

Charity never faileth: but whether there

be prophecies, they shall fail; whether

    there be tongues, they shall cease;

whether there be knowledge, it shall

vanish away. * For we know in part, andwe prophesy in part. But when that

which is perfect is come, then that which

is in part shall be done away.

    (1 Corinthians 13:8-10)

    Christ is waiting with longing

    desire for the manifestation of

Himself in His church. When thecharacter of Christ shall be

    perfectly reproduced in His

people, then He will come to

    claim them as His own.

    (Christs Object Lessons, p. 69)

Speak unto every feathered fowl, and

to every beast of the field, Assembleyourselves, and come; gather

yourselves on every side to My

sacrifice that I do sacrifice for you,

even a great sacrifice upon the

mountains of Israel, that ye may eat

    flesh, and drink blood.

    (Ezekiel 39:17)

Behold, I will send you Elijah the

prophet before the coming of the

great and dreadful day of the LORD:

and he shall turn the heart of the

fathers to the children, and the heart

of the children to their fathers.

    (Malachi 4:5, 6)

If My people, which are called by

    My name, shall humble

    themselves, and pray, and seek

My face, and turn from their

wicked ways; then will I hearfrom heaven, and will forgive

their sin, and will heal their land.

    (1 Chronicles 7:14)

But the fruit of the Spirit is love,

    joy, peace, longsuffering

    gentleness, goodness, faith,

    meekness, temperance: against

    such there is no law.

Be careful for nothing; but in every

thing by prayer and supplication with

thanksgiving let your requests be made

known unto God. * And the peace of

    God, which passeth all understanding,

shall keep your hearts and mindsthrough Christ Jesus.

    perfect in weakness.

    (2 Corinthians 12:9)

What? Know ye not that your body is the

temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you

which ye have of God, and ye are not your

own? * For ye are bought with a price:

therefore glorify God in your body, and in

    your spirit, which are God's.

    (1 Corinthians 6:19, 20)

    Submit yourselves therefore to God.

Resist the devil, and he will flee

Thou hast made Me to serve with thy sins,

thou hast wearied Me with thine iniquities. *

I, even I, am He that blotteth out thy

transgressions for Mine own sake, and will

not remember thy sins. * Put Me in

thou, that thou mayest be justified.

    (Isaiah 43:24-26)

Cleave unto Him: for He is thy

For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from

heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth

the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud,

that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to

the eater: so shall My Word be that goeth forth

out of My mouth: it shall not return unto Me

void, but it shall accomplish that which I pleaseand it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

    (Isaiah 55:10, 11)

Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be asscarlet, they shall be as white as snow;though they be red like crimson, theyshall be as wool. * If ye be willing and

    My presence shall

    go with thee, and I

    will give thee rest.(Exodus 33:14)

What agreement hath the temple of God with idols?

For ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath

said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I

will be their God, and they shall be My people. *

Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye

separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the uncleanthing; and I will receive you, and will be a Father

unto you, and ye shall be My sons and daughters,

    saith the Lord Almighty.

    (2 Corinthians 6:16-18)

    The LORD shall preserve thee

from all evil: He shall preserve

thy soul. * The LORD shallpreserve thy going out and thy

coming in from this time forth,

    and even for evermore.

    (Psalm 121:7, 8)

The mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he

who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the

way. * And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whomthe Lord shall consume with the spirit of His mouth,

and shall destroy with the brightness of His coming:

even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan

with all power and signs and lying wonders, and with

all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that

perish; because they received not the love of the truth,

that they might be saved. * And for this cause God

shall send them strong delusion, that they should

believe a lie: that they all might be damned who

believed not the truth, but had pleasure in

    unrighteousness. (2 Thessalonians 2:7-12)

And he had power to give life unto the image of the

beast, that the image of the beast should both speak

and cause that as many as would not worship the

image of the beast should be killed. * And he causeth

all, both small and great, rich and poor, free andbond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their

foreheads: and that no man might buy or sell, save he

that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the

number of his name. * Here is wisdom. Let him that

hath understanding count the number of the beast

for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six

And this gospel of the kingdom shall be

preached in all the world for a witness

unto all nations; and then shall the end

come. * When ye therefore shall see the

This generation shallnot pass, till all these

    things be fulfilled.

    (Matthew 24:34)

Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the

desert a highway for our God. * Every valley shall be

exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be madelow: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the

rough places plain: and the glory of the LORD shall be

revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the

mouth of the LORD hath spoken it. * The voice said,

Cry. And he said, What shall I cry? All flesh is grass,

and all the goodliness thereof is as the flower of the

field: * The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: because

the spirit of the LORD bloweth upon it: surely the

people are grass. * The grass withereth, the flower

fadeth: but the Word of our God shall stand for ever.

    (Isaiah 40:3-8)

O Zion, that bringest good tidings,

    get thee up into the high mountain;

    O Jerusalem, that bringest good

tidings, lift up thy voice with

unto the cities of Judah, Behold

    your God! (Isaiah 40:9)

fury to destroy, and utterly to take away many. *

And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace

between the seas and the glorious holy mountain

yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help

him. * And at that time shall Michael stand up, thegreat prince which standeth for the children of thy

people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as

never was since there was a nation even to that

same time: and at that time thy people shall be

delivered, every one that shall be found written in

    the book. (Daniel 11:44-12:1)

And they that be wise shall

Therefore My people shall know My name:

that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth

they shall see eye to eye, when the LORD shall

    bring again Zion. (Isaiah 52:6-8)

Depart ye, depart ye, go ye out

One thing have I desired of the

forgetting those things which arebehind, and reaching forth unto

those things which are before, I press

high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

    (Philippians 3:13, 14)

The LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings

unto the meek; He hath sent me to bind up the

brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and

the opening of the prison to them that are bound; to

proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day

of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; to

to His mercy He saved us, by thewashing of regeneration, and

    renewing of the Holy Ghost;

Which He shed on us abundantly

    through Jesus Christ our Saviour.

    (Titus 3:5, 6)

Without shedding of blood is no remission

It was therefore necessary that the patternsof things in the heavens should be purified

with these; but the heavenly things

themselves with better sacrifices than these

    * For Christ is not entered into the holy

places made with hands, which are the

figures of the true; but into heaven itself,

now to appear in the presence of God for us.

    (Hebrews 9:22-24)

Christ being come an high priest of good

things to come, by a greater and more

    perfect tabernacle, not made with

    hands, that is to say, not of this building;

neither by the blood of goats and calves,

but by His own blood He entered in once

into the holy place, having obtainedeternal redemption for us.

    (Hebrews 9:11, 12)

    Now faith is the

    substance of things

    hoped for, the evidence

    of things not seen.

    (Hebrews 11:1)

By faith Enoch was translated that he

should not see death; and was not found,

because God had translated him: for

before his translation he had thistestimony, that he pleased God. * But

without faith it is impossible to please

Him: for he that cometh to God must

believe that He is, and that He is a

rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.

    (Hebrews 11:5, 6)

    And these all, having obtained

    a good report through faith,

    received not the promise: God

    having provided some better

thing for us, that they without

us should not be made perfect.

    (Hebrews 11:39, 40)

And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and

to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better

things than that of Abel. See that ye refuse not Him

that speaketh. * For if they escaped not who refused

Him that spake on earth, much more shall not we

escape, if we turn away from Him that speaketh

from heaven: Whose voice then shook the earth:

but now He hath promised, saying, Yet once more I

shake not the earth only, but also heaven. * Andthis word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing

of those things that are shaken, as of things that are

made, that those things which cannot be shaken

    may remain. (Hebrews 12:24-27)

The LORD also shall roar out of Zion, and utter His

voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth

shall shake: * but the LORD will be the hope of His

people, and the strength of the children of Israel. * So

shall ye know that I am the LORD your God dwelling

in Zion, My holy mountain: then shall Jerusalem be

holy, and there shall no strangers pass through herany more. * And it shall come to pass in that day, that

the mountains shall drop down new wine, and the

hills shall flow with milk, and all the rivers of Judah

shall flow with waters, and a fountain shall come forth

of the house of the LORD, and shall water the

    valley of Shittim. (Joel 3:16-18)

O God, when Thou wentest forth before Thy

people, when Thou didst march through the

wilderness; Selah: The earth shook, the heavens

also dropped at the presence of God: even Sinaiitself was moved at the presence of God, the God

of Israel. * Thou, O God, didst send a plentiful

rain, whereby thou didst confirm thine

inheritance, when it was weary. Thy

congregation hath dwelt therein: * Thou, O God

hast prepared of thy goodness for the poor. * The

Lord gave the Word: great was the company of

those that published it. (Psalm 68:7-11)

Give ear, O ye heavens, and I will

speak; and hear, O earth, thewords of My mouth. * My doctrine

shall drop as the rain, My speech

shall distil as the dew, as the small

rain upon the tender herb, and as

    the showers upon the grass.

    (Deuteronomy 32:1, 2)

Hopefully, among other things, you have seen through

these Scriptures how history repeats itself. Prophecies

testify that what happened at Sinai will happen in the

Loud Cry and shaking in our time. What happened at

Christs First Advent will happen at the Second Advent, particularly spiritually. Hopefully you have gained a

greater appreciation for the time that we are living in and

our high calling. Look and live; memorize the beauties of

our Lord Who gave His life for us, for He has memorized

us more than we have ourselves...
