� WordArt is a gallery of text styles with which you can create decorative effects, such as shad-owed or mirrored text.
� WordArt changes text to a graphic object, but can still be edited.
To complete this document, you will need the following file:� w03_Honolulu_Flyer
You will save your document as:� w03_Honolulu_Flyer_Your_Name
1. Start Word. Locate and open the file w03_Honolulu_Flyer. Save the file in your WordChapter 3 folder as w03_Honolulu_Flyer_Your_Name and then add the file name to thefooter. If necessary, turn on the formatting marks.
2. In the title paragraph—Honolulu Cypress Hotel—select the entire paragraph, and then clickthe Insert tab.
3. In the Text group, click the WordArt button, and then take a moment to look at theWordArt gallery, as shown in Figure 1.

4. From the displayed WordArt gallery, click the first style in the third row—WordArt style 13.
The Edit WordArt Text dialog box displays. You can change the text, or change the fontsize or style here.
5. In the Edit WordArt Text dialog box, click OK, and then compare your screen with Figure 2.

6. In the Size group, click the Shape Height up spin arrow as necessary to increase the height of the WordArt to 1". Click the Shape Width up spin arrowto increase the width of the WordArt to 6.5".
7. In the WordArt Styles group, click the Shape Outline button , and then under ThemeColors, in the first row, click the fourth button—Dark Blue, Text 2. Turn off the formattingmarks and compare your screen with Figure 3.
